Is it possible for the Christian churches to be one?
There are true christian chuches, and false ones

Only churches who teach the ONE true gospels are true churches. And they are one,, Because christ is their root.. And as paul said the gates of hell can not keep them from being the church and going into the world united.

You do not stop here. You say we must do more..
Yes, there is more to being saved, but I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and our Savior and it is a stand alone statement. I also believe that one must be born-again by the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This too is a stand alone statement.
I have also said that good works is a part of being saved. This is a statement that TT could say is opposite of what the bible says, but he is wrong about that too. But I give him the right to say it about works. But not about Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and our Savior and that we must be born-again. These statements are not controversial and are certainly not opposite of what the bible says. So is he truthful?

As you saw on this forum, Christians are all over the map as to what they beieve about many doctrines. I think I can guarantee that there are no 2 churches that believe 100% of the doctrines of the bible in the same way. That is why there are many thousands of Christian churches.

So what is the one true gospel and who teaches it. Is your church the only true church that teaches the 1 true gospel of Jesus Christ? I bet within your own church you will have division about some of the doctrines taught out of the bible. Your pastor may teach a sermon on the millenium or the rapture and I'm sure you could have some heavy disussion within your ranks that can not be reconciled. But you leave the discussion as brothers in the gospel and remain friends and followers of Christ. That is how divisions are elliminated and oneness is maintained.

No there is not more. Thats your problem.

The redemption found in christ. Thats it.

Your works have NOTHING to do with it

I am talking about the gospel. Period.

Can you ever stay on topic?

"Yea, hath God said?" (Genesis 3:1)

What do think it means when God cuts off the branch and takes it away. Do you think that could do with you not getting EL with him. It is a scriptural metaphor for what it takes to lose your salvation. Being cut off the true vine means you are no longer in line for EL.

If you do not produce fruit for the KOG, you will not be in the KOG. IOW you will not have salvation in the KOG.
How much fruit does one have to produce to not be cut off from the vine? Fruit, or works, is a manifestation of one's salvation but the works in themselves do not save, only the shed blood of Jesus dying on the cross for sins contritely confessed leading to repentance by the Holy Spirit's guidance makes salvation possible. What's this EL stuff anyway? Salvation is a gift and not something that is earned by works, therefore you cannot lose salvation by lack of works.

What I said stands on its own. And I have said it many times. "Good works will not save you." Is that a true statement, or is it opposite of what the bible says. TT you need to let me know? (you have 50% of the Gospel correct).

behur, you have 50% of the gospel that is true; "works will not save you.", only Jesus Christ and His death, burial and resurrection can save a human soul. But now you need to go all the way and believe that, "works will not keep you saved." its is the "power of God" that will keep a Christian saved, not your good works.

We are saved, "unto good works" -- not by them. You cannot "Mix" works with grace or grace is no longer grace.

Ephesians2:8-10
8)
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God 9) "not by works", so that no one can boast. 10) For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Well, TT, let's see if everything I say is opposite of what the bible teaches and see if you are telling the truth:
(what a joke)

(The word, "Everything", is meant to be taken "figuratively, good grief"

Here is 1 thing I have said almost every day.
I believe we must believe that Jesus is the Son of God and our Savior. Is that the truth, or is that opposite of what the bible teaches?

Go away guy, I meant "figuratively ", about everything you say, not "literally" everything you say", now you are going to prove me wrong, be my guest.

Seriously no wonder you have a problem interpreting scripture correctly.

Definition: figuratively
Something that's said figuratively isn't intended to be taken as the literal truth, but as a symbol of something, or as "emphasis."

90% truth with 10% lies are lies, propaganda double speak. Heed the warning of Rev 22:18 & 19 stick to the word, don't try and make it fit your understanding.
