What I said stands on its own. And I have said it many times. "Good works will not save you." Is that a true statement, or is it opposite of what the bible says. TT you need to let me know? (you have 50% of the Gospel correct).
behur, you have
50% of the gospel that is true;
"works will not save you.", only Jesus Christ and His death, burial and resurrection can save a human soul. But now you need to go all the way and believe that,
"works will not keep you saved." its is the
"power of God" that will keep a Christian saved, not your good works.
We are saved,
"unto good works" -- not by them. You cannot
"Mix" works with grace or grace is no longer grace.
Ephesians2:8-10
8) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is
the gift of God 9) "not by works", so that no one can boast.
10) For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
