I don't want to talk about this, you keep bringing it up.I already proved the interpretation of ps 16 was in error, acts 2 and the greek word just further backs my point
Next
Ps, open another thread plase, we are off track again
Open another thread then ask himI don't want to talk about this, you keep bringing it up.
I'm just waiting around to see if @dcontroversal will own up to his Hebrew blunder and possibly recant his ridiculous statements.
Oh yeah.......it always does......regardless, at least both are believers......and even the crappiest day has a sunset and a new dawn......!!Hope your day got better bro!
@dcontroversal has been leading people astray about Jesus going to hell and he knows it. So no I won't let it go.
Open another thread then ask him
Then prove him wrong
Amen Blue....I could use some for sure.......bring a pot down haha
Hahahhaahhah You have that right brother......he makes me think of the preachers and deacons I have heard say....Paul taught out of the King James bible or if the King James bible was good enough for Jesus and Paul.....blah blah blah.....a King Jimmy worshipper cannot possibly accept the truth of the original languages and much less use the Common sense God gave a goose with honesty and context to embrace truth.....Acts 2: 31 in the greek. Hadoe (hades) not hell
Oh thats right the greek means nohing to you i forgot, you worship an english translation, forgive me for thinking the original text has any meaning to you
You didn’t answer my question. Those are the same Hebrew words and I’m asking you why is one paradise and the other hell?Try again pal...your worship of the Anglican bible and refusal to not only acknowledge the truth, grammar, and context = the one leading people astray with your drivel
And I already gave you a SOLID BIBLICAL ANSWER by the words of Jesus in Luke 16 and his words to the thief and freaking context......and too be fully honest.....DO NOT engage me....or GO MAKE YOUR OWN false thread based upon the worship of your Anglican transliteration....I cannot engage people that are dishonest with the text, verbiage, context anymore because it peeves me off and then I get raked over the coals for calling a spade a spade.....when you can embrace the truth, context and the words of Jesus engage me...until then I am not going to engage a man that bows down to an Anglican bible while rejecting the truth and context to argue false points....this is my last reply to whay you are peddling....!!You didn’t answer my question. Those are the same Hebrew words and I’m asking you why is one paradise and the other hell?
The same Hebrew word liš-’ō-wl that was used in Psalm 16:10 is also used in Psalm 49:14.
Here it is rendered as "the grave".
This is the same place Jesus went in Psalm 16:10.
Is this grave, where death is feeding on them and their beauty is consumed from their dwelling, is this Paradise?
Psa 49:14 Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
Psalm 16:10
HEB: תַעֲזֹ֣ב נַפְשִׁ֣י לִשְׁא֑וֹל לֹֽא־ תִתֵּ֥ן
NAS: my soul to Sheol; Nor
KJV: my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer
INT: abandon my soul to Sheol Nor allow
Psalm 31:17
HEB: רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים יִדְּמ֥וּ לִשְׁאֽוֹל׃
NAS: let them be silent in Sheol.
KJV: [and] let them be silent in the grave.
INT: the wicked them be silent Sheol
Psalm 49:14
HEB: כַּצֹּ֤אן ׀ לִֽשְׁא֣וֹל שַׁתּוּ֮ מָ֤וֶת
NAS: they are appointed for Sheol; Death
KJV: they are laid in the grave; death
INT: sheep Sheol are appointed Death
Amen to that.......You know....I really wonder how many men from other countries would stand and die for America if we were engaged in a war with China and Russia......especially if there were tactical nukes being used....One thing about American troops, they have shown a history of giving their lives for people of other countries, sadly not sure how much longer that will last
I'm dishonest because I asked you a plain and simple question and you CAN NOT answer it so you bash me.And I already gave you a SOLID BIBLICAL ANSWER by the words of Jesus in Luke 16 and his words to the thief and freaking context......and too be fully honest.....DO NOT engage me....or GO MAKE YOUR OWN false thread based upon the worship of your Anglican transliteration....I cannot engage people that are dishonest with the text, verbiage, context anymore because it peeves me off and then I get raked over the coals for calling a spade a spade.....when you can embrace the truth, context and the words of Jesus engage me...until then I am not going to engage a man that bows down to an Anglican bible while rejecting the truth and context to argue false points....this is my last reply to whay you are peddling....!!
Are you not able to answer a simple question? You're a Hebrew expert aren't you... this should be simple but you wont touch it. You can say King Jimmy all you want but even bibles that use SHEOL use SHEOL in both places. The problem is that you can't tell us why they did it because you DENY that Christ went to SHEOL and you can't fabricate a Hebrew Language myth to cover your rear.Skewing facts, disregarding truth and context <--Modus Operandi of King Jimmy worshippers....exactly why they peddle English and transliterations over the INSPIRED GREEK AND HEBREW.......oh that's right they also peddle God inspired 54 false Episcopal priests.............
Why don't you try to help those people instead of bashing, belittling and making fun of them like you do everybody who disagrees with you?So......have the workers for and salvation losers helped Jesus today to maintain that which cannot be maintained by man....Nope....never have, never will...
Jesus keeps us by his power and he will FINISH AND COMPLETE that wotknof faith he has begun in us!!
Yep, I know that Hebrew word is Sheol and the English equivalent is hell. The hebrew word is Sheol, not hell
I already explained this in a post to kjv.,
NoYep, I know that Hebrew word is Sheol and the English equivalent is hell.
It came from the Greek PAGANS. Not exactly a Christian term. Even they had enough sense to know it was hell lol.No
The english equivalent would be hades, proven by the greek word used in acts, which quotes the same passage, and hence where the english word comes from.
Yep, I know that Hebrew word is Sheol and the English equivalent is hell.
