I believe we are saved in our state of sinners, shown the light and given the power
to begin the walk on the path.

My only inspiration lately is the central role of purity in our communion with the Lord,
and how emotionally it resolves so many of our issues and fears. Our modern ways of
over analysis misses what was emotionally so obvious to previous generations and revivals.
When love comes to town, darkness disappears. When communities are close and not so
individualistic and selfish, the gospel speaks quicker and simpler to people, because their
needs are more obvious and open.

A lot of people can literally flatter themselves with wealth and believe they have
arrived when it is just money and running away that protects them from the realities of
life coming home to roost. It is why rich people become corrupted and abusive without
realizing it, because they do not have to rely on any relationships actually working.

So my theology is closer to pilgrims progress and the methodist view of holiness than
anything. But I know to most I am just doomed to hell, so it matters little to them, lol

Do you love Jesus? Do you desire to walk in His ways? Does His words and life
fill you with joy and praises to His name?

My walk is just this, a walk of wonder and learning from Him. I am transfixed how
He has changed me and molded me through my will and gifting.

Now I can share where my heart is and where I am currently. But in
the end it is our walk and communion that matters and those brothers and sisters
who share this oneness in Christ Jesus.

For some to even talk like this is a red rag to a bull. I now understand how they
feel, but it does not change my experience or who the Lord is, rather it shows how
troubled a life they lead.

What you do not see is the anger and antagonism of some against loving Christ, is testimony
that they do not know Him. You appear not to be able to see this yet. I do not actually
have to say anything about other peoples positions, the spiritual reality will drive them to
demonstrate what is in their hearts without me commenting.

It happened to Jesus, so it will happen to us. Praise the Lord that our testimony is strong
enough to raise such opposition, hallelujah. We are called to walk in the light as He is in the
light so our good works so shine before men they will praise the Lord, Amen.

Zacchaeus repented of stealing money as a tax collected "in his youth" and promised Jesus to pay folks back...

Jesus neither encouraged him to tend fig trees or commended him for climbing one.....the guy was short,he wanted to see Jesus.

Nothing we do for God is in vain, but God does reveal what we should and shouldn't do.

Lion....used both to describe Jesus as the Lion of Judah...and Satan as a lion roaming the earth to devour folks

Fig tree....fruitless fig tree means earthly Jerusalem and harlot Israel, 3 years means Jesus earthly ministry to call His people back....fig tree Zachaeus climbed? Doesn't say if it produced fruit or not.

I think it only causes pain for those who read his posts. I don't read them because I don't understand all of the jewish words.
I like NLT and NASB, but I can follow along if someone uses NIV, KJV, or 30 other English translations.

Accepting Him as your savior does what the annual umblemished lamb sacrifice did back then. He was the unblemished Lamb of God!!!

The difference being that the Old covenant sacrifices could never take away sins completely, hence why they had to be repeated. Even when a woman gave birth she had to go through a whole ritual each time, because she was considered unclean. Mary and Joseph must have been poor, because they opted for 2 dove offerings, rather than a lamb.

It was all pointing to Jesus, the ONE perfect sacrifice for sins forever. By just ONE offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified (Hebrews 10:11-18).
