Kills me to say it, but the old gal is telling the truth. Arabs were offered a two state solution in 48, they rejected it then, they reject it now because they don't want a two state solution, they want one state with Israel pushed into the sea. Read Hamas first charter. Every single peace deal offered Hamas has turned it down. There shouldn't have been another offer made. They rejected it in 48, should have been the end of discussion.

In my line of work we say "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing" and that is most evident on this topic as well.
This "little knowledge" of scripture has allowed dispensationalism to take root and this cost many lives and caused much upset/turmoil in the near east.
When Christians should have been profusely opposed to an ideology, clearly not supported by scripture, they were co-opted into the delusion by taking scripture out of context .
Absolutely the land of Israel is Gods real-estate, Mt. Zion and Jerusalem is the focal point.

Alot of people here are very good with scripture but poor when it comes to the story it reveals.
Moses ...the law giver could not enter and died and was buried outside but never aged. Joshua took over the leadership. Joshua is a picture of Jesus.
We get a glimpse of the kingdom to come from the old testament scriptures. The law will be put to rest. But first the land must be occupied by his chosen. For God has declared it a Holy nation.
This could never happen if it remained Palestine for obvious reasons.
