Spiritual Israel doesn't mean invisible ethereal Israel, but Israel that is ruled by the spirit, ie those who walk according to the spirit rather than the flesh.

If walk according to the spiritual command of Christ Jesus , there’s never going to be the motivation to commit adultery with our flesh which is a carnal action commited by the person with thier flesh , thier body but the way to obey God is to walk after and heed the words Christ is teaching us . That way we’ll never want to commit adultery because we are repentant of the lust in the first place . We can’t sit around watching pornography or lusting after a woman at work imagining how attractive she is to us imagining what it would be like ect
“Jesus nips it in the bud “ he’s teaching us how to operate within our body , but according to his spirit that is with us as we hear and believe the gospel and begin to follow after Jesus and his ways that are so much better than telling people “ don’t commit the adultery that’s burning constantly in your heart just resist and don’t do it or else “
That cannot ever help or change us within. It Jesus doctrine is about fixing this part

wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: all
these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”

Jesus words are targeting the issues of corruption within us if we begin to think of Gods word telling us “ if you look at another person with lust and wrong intentions in your heart , you need to repent because you’ve sinned in your heart . “ like Jesus taught rather than teaching sinners who are corrupt “not to sin “ or else “
jesus doctrine is the solution to the problems the law exposed in mankinds weak and pitiful fallen nature wheras we fall captive and are dominated by sin on our own it just becomes part of life normal . But it still leads mankind to death and Jesus came to change how we understand and view God the “ spirit of our mind “ how we understand him and his Will and how to overcome and eliminate so many pitfalls within us
if we follow after Christ and his words and ways we learn as we abide more and more there’s eternal life at the end of the path and a promise from our creator and savior that he will see us through if we just hold on and follow after what he’s teaching us he’s able to change so much we cannot because our minds are corrupt from the world

)that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
