man isn’t meant for that but we’re meant to just trust gods word and advice like a father . Not having to choose for ourselves between what’s good or what’s evil because we have no judgement gods judgements are always correct and true many of our own judgements are not good

It was God's plan from the beginning of creation for man to be like God knowing both good and evil. How else could he have an intimate partner that knows him? He wouldn't have allowed Eve to be tempted if that were not the case.

Didn't we go though this already? This is the fulfilling of God's plan. Not replacement theology doctrine.

We did, but it wasn't settled. Remember when I asked about how a covenant was performed? It was not God's plan to put Gentiles in place of the Jews. Because of their disobedience a way was made for us to be grafted in.

God's plan wasn't just for the Jewish people. We don't replace the Jewish people at all but to fulfill what he set out to do.We are one as the water and blood are one.

It totally was.How else can a seed bare much fruit unless it dies first?
Why did he tell them not to eat it or they would die ? Why did he cast them out after they did it ? Why did he repent for creating them why was his heart greives because they became wicked ?

God intended to cause himself grief for creating mankind then repent for doing it then decide to destroy them all saving one and his family ? All the while blaming them for corrupting the earth with violence and death ?

The Trees of good and evil, and the tree of life is symbolic of the Covenants. The garden itself like the temple court like where the gentiles worshiped God.If they were only in the garden then they weren't in the sanctuary yet.

This life is almost like a muddled mirror image of heaven. If you set a garden with plans to bare good fruits, are you not going to have issues with tares?
God planted Adam and Eve in the garden. The ones who are of the Spirit, water, and the blood are gathered up into the storehouse/sanctuary.

To answer your first question, I guess because part of being god-like is having free will. Do you think God didn't know beforehand everything that has happened would happen? Why then did he let them happen? Would a caring parent let not good things happen to their child if it was in their power to stop those things from happening? Perhaps if it was for the child's long-term good they might.

“It was God's plan from the beginning of creation for man to be like God knowing both good and evil.

man was created in the image and likeness of God already

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Then god forbid them from eating the fruit and knowing good and evil . Then Satan deceived them and they ate it they followed satans idea not gods

god didn’t cause this Satan and man working together did

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭6:5-7, 12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬
if we inderersnd having a greives hewrt and repenting then we can understand god wasn’t who caused this to happen man following Satan and learning the knowledge of good and evil did we’re supposed to be holy not conflicted between good and evil

jesus came to redeem us , to reconcile us to gods plans before sin

Satan then came along and told them god loed they wouldn’t die if they ate it like he said

and then he told them not to partake of the knowledge of good and evil lest they die.

then Satan told them “ you won’t die like god said ….you’ll become as gods ( little g) knowing good and evil “

And they followed satans idea ate the fruit God told them not to eat and then they became as gods knowing good and evil .

If you notice they fell from tbier position with G

God planted Adam and Eve in the garden. The ones who are of the Spirit, water, and the blood are gathered up into the storehouse/sanctuary.

Amen consider the story in this parable ?

“Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this.

The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:24-30‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The planter intended to make a garden but his enemy came and sowed bad seed in his field . The land owner then decides to leave the tares and wheat together growing because he doesn’t want to kill his food wheat

Eas his plan to plant tares or was that the enemy causing mischief ?

“e of life is symbolic of the Covenants. The garden itself like the temple court like where the gentiles worshiped God.”

it is yes later for us now , but it’s also an accounting of mankind’s beginning with god and what happened to cause tbier demise .

It was the serpent who planted the tares but God created satan as his adversary because he is a tester.

“I guess because part of being god-like is having free will. “

right they were made in his image , they were made free “ you are free to eat any fruit in Eden , but you must not eat this fruit you’ll die “

“Do you think God didn't know beforehand everything that has happened would happen?”

having foreknowledge of what’s going to happen before it does , doesn’t mean you are causing it or had it planned is what I was meaning to say . Knowing something will happen is different that planning and executing it

“Why then did he let them happen?”

free Will like you said . You can’t make a person free to choose and then dictate and force thier choice and actions . God gave earth to mankind in the beginning to have dominion over it. He “let it “ happen because he gave them dominion over all the earth and doesn’t go back on his word

notice who he blames for what’s happened ?

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt;

for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭6:5-7, 11-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Remember just ten generations before tbat god looked at his creation and said this

“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:31‬ ‭

and had said this of and to mankind before they are the fruit

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:27-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

they were made in his image , and likeness he looked upon them and said they were very good he blesses them and gives them dominion over the earthly part of his creation that’s why he lets them act freely because he made them with free Will . That’s exactly the point they were created with free Will

now look how that changed things God can be provoked from blessing man to wrath upon them in only ten generations of sinful choices ot can go from “very good “ to only evil all the time in just a few generations of mankind .

do we think god planned to create everything and call it all very good , give man dominion , have Satan tempt man to sin so they would die , grieve his own heart because man has become wicked , repent because he created them at all , then declares because they’ve filled creation with violence and sin and wickedness he’s going to destroy them because he’s repenting for creating them ?

Most reject the idea but have you noticed that throughout the Bible God makes good offers of covenants filled of blessing to mankind and they refuse to obey him and then provoke him to wrath against them ?

mankind has an agency in the things the bible speaks of them

It was the serpent who planted the tares but God created satan as his adversary because he is a tester.
So gods responsible for tempting mankind because he created Satan to be his adversary ?

why does the bi le tell us that Satan went against god because of pride and that a third of the angels followed him and that hell was created because of that rebellion against god ?

“But we're contrasting grace vs works. “

i know I was wondering why because they are part of the same , that work together , not opponents . faith is where they reconcile where grace teaches works by faith …..

Bit I digress I’m probably not on topic lol apologies for the confusion
