OK, yeah it's a short video nine minutes and a bit. It's a very good summary. He clearly shows the parameters around, the conditions in which people find themselves where they are tempted. So simply stated, he seems to me to be saying the disciplined Christian life says no to masturbation. Watch it and tell me if you disagree.
Didn't you mention having masturbated as a teenager? Does that mean you had the spirit of masturbation? Did you feel it come out of your fingers? If not, does that prove you have a spirit of masturbation in you? Would that prove you have a spirit of lust?
I think we need to be wary of taking one preacher's experiences as a basis for doctrine.

The fact that we even have to ask is masturbation a sin demonstrates how much the world has corrupted the body of Christ. The real question is how can it not be a sin.
probably for medical reasons it may not be for single person, but the famous old argument would be if married couple can do it why can't i, all tho I wouldn't like to say what is it what isn't a sin, I believe complete celibacy would be required which I suspect not many people can live up to.
It's like asking is smoking a sin, The bible doesn't specifically state it is, but it's another one of those instances where you could say it's not stated but it most certainly should be a sin in my opinion.
There used to be a name for it, the "solitary vice." It was frowned upon by society because people back then knew it could lead to mental, emotional and spiritual degradation. But hey, now it's normal and healthy. It's usually those "healthy" guys who pull out a rifle and start shooting up the place.
There is no shame in sin that is overcome. Or for someone seeking help from brothers and sisters.
I've just done a bit of research on the solitary vice, its quite the controversial subject amongst the medical profession, and the author of a said book on this, went on to blame all sorts of medical conditions for what he described as self abuse, from his book called the solitary vice.
