Perhaps they are lost. And a lot of believers think God hates them
Perhaps they are lost. And a lot of believers think God hates them
Yeah, I can read that.
Your video was vulgar. If that's your business you'll be bankrupt soon enough.
Nailed!I think it is a massive stretch to say God is cruel.
God created all the world for us to enjoy and cultivate. He walked directly hand in hand with us and showed us what is right and we rebelled. Imediately after saving our lives from the first distruction we rebelled. He gave us prophet after prophet yet we rebelled. He sent his own son who we beat brutally and gruesomely murdered, yet his patients and grace continues. We deserve nothing better than hell. We rebelled, murder, worship material, lie, cheat, steal, and we call ourselves good. Just look at us, we will debate as to whether or not a mother should murder her own child. We destroy everything we touch including our bodies and minds. The pornography industry testifies against our so called goodness.
No God is merciful beyond measure. I would have destroyed it all a long time ago. I can not understand why God endurs us thus far.
My friend, God is not cruel as you erroneously posted. He is just, holy, and righteous, and that is why He punishes the lost wicked people. But He is not cruel.God did destroy it all a long time ago. He destroyed all of Sodom and Gomorrah save for one family deemed righteous. He destroyed the first born of every Egyptian house after hardening Pharaoh's heart so that he would be unable to let his people Go. And , just to list a few, he destroyed the entire population of the world by drowning, save for numbers of animals and Noah's family deemed righteous so as to populate the world again with sinful mortals. Noah was a drunkard. After the deluge. God sent in 2nd Kings 2 two bears to maul more than 40 children. God's laws prescribed death for certain sins, transgressions, deemed abomination. Adultery, homosexuality.
God is cruel. He is also kind. Remember though, God is the darkness and the light. God is all things.
By the way, Diogenes' Chicken....You featherless biped you.![]()

5 For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, 8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.(Romans 5 NASB)The lost hate God.
God is cruel.
Glad to see you using a real Bible my brother.5 For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, 8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.(Romans 5 NASB)
I believe the KJV states they are at enmity with God, which means to have an ill will towards Him. The lost do, as you correctly state, hate God my friend.
My friend, God is not cruel as you erroneously posted. He is just, holy, and righteous, and that is why He punishes the lost wicked people. But He is not cruel.
I looked at what The Message stated and it wasn’t as good as what the CSB, NASB, or even the KJV said. I like it for some things, loathe it for others. I was recently shown the sorry way it wrote Psalm 1:1.Glad to see you using a real Bible my brother.
I hear you bro, but I don't think the latter would have been cruel.Indeed like in the garden, what did God do clothed them to keep them warm out of garden, that's not cruel, cruel would be tossing them out the garden naked and vulnerable to the elements.
I don't second guess God at his word.My friend, God is not cruel as you erroneously posted. He is just, holy, and righteous, and that is why He punishes the lost wicked people. But He is not cruel.
I don't second guess God at his word.
And neither do I. However, I do not see a cruel God in the Bible my friend. I see a God of holiness, righteousness, love, and patience.I don't second guess God at his word.
As long as you are one of the so-called 'elect.'I do not see a cruel God in the Bible
OKAnd neither do I. However, I do not see a cruel God in the Bible my friend. I see a God of holiness, righteousness, love, and patience.
I hear you bro, but I don't think the latter would have been cruel.
Sorry, did you mean to post this to me? You quoted the reply I made, post 197, to SNA's post 195.I replied to one of the Calvinists and for some reason his post is gone and only my reply to him remains. That was the context.
