The two guys looking around.. do you see any hands? I don't see anyone raising their hands. haha. sorry.. funny to me

Someone may have had their hands raised on the inside!

"it's OK for christians to go ahead and live in sin since all future sins are already forgiven". As God as my witness I have only hear this from believes that believe your not always saved.

Your position then is that it is OK for Christians to live in sin?

I know people in my church doing things that are sinful and they think they are still saved.

Are they? They know it's wrong and they do it anyway claiming what you are claiming that they are saved anyway

It might comfort you to know that God isn't fooled. He knows who are His.

My coworker who is telling me once saved always saved in not true told me to ask you if it's OK for christians to go ahead and live in sin since all future sins are already forgiven

I can see his point. If it's true that all future sins are forgiven then it doesn't matter if a christian lives in sin or not since all future sins are forgiven

Is this is why some many christians are living in sin now because they think all future sins are forgiven?
In Romans 6, Paul asks a significant question, "Why would those who have believed the gospel and have become baptized inti christ continue in sin?

Hello! There is no-one able to work their way into heaven, hence our need for a saviour.

Indeed, there is no one on earth who is righteous,
no one who does what is right and never sins (Ecclesiastes 7:20)

All have turned away, all have become corrupt;
there is no one who does good,
not even one. (Psalm 14:3)

Once someone is saved I believe an attitude of gratitude takes over, we love because he first loved us. We forgive one another because we have been forgiven. We try to do the right. But we often fail, no-one is sinless. The best thing said about future sins IMHO is to try not to commit them.

God Bless You :)

Are all these people here that say it's not possible to do anything that would cause us to not go to heaven wrong?
Nobody goes to heaven. We all go to the grave, i.e. Sheol/Hades, then rise from the dead, like what Lord Jesus had been through.

Is this common? What kinds of things do they say?

I'm hearing numerous preachers teach that all our futures sins are already forgiven

Is this why is doesn't matter if a christian lives in sin or not and once saved always saved in true?

My pastor tells me that the bible teaches there is nothing a christian can possibly do that would cause them to not go to heaven

And this seems to be the general consensus of many here after reading quite a few posts from others.

I would reference Ezekiel 33:12-13 "Therefore, son of man, say to your people, ‘If someone who is righteous disobeys, that person’s former righteousness will count for nothing. And if someone who is wicked repents, that person’s former wickedness will not bring condemnation. The righteous person who sins will not be allowed to live even though they were formerly righteous. Therefore, son of man, say to your people, ‘If someone who is righteous disobeys, that person’s former righteousness will count for nothing. And if someone who is wicked repents, that person’s former wickedness will not bring condemnation. The righteous person who sins will not be allowed to live even though they were formerly righteous."
