I think some believe they are but they're as stubborn as the Jews we read in the Bible.Happy to hear!!Praise Him!!
So do you think today’s Jew is similar in mindset to the nation of Jews back in Abraham’s time?

Jacob, good posts. I'll add some comments from the modern, feminist influenced NRSV Updated Edition.
My confidence is in the Apostle Paul’s Holy Spirit inspired interpretation of Gen. 3:16-17 –
The NRSV Updated Edition, 2021, is about as woman friendly as you can get.
Let a woman learn in silence with full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she is to keep silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve, and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. (1Ti 2:11-14, NRSVue)
The church is in real trouble when people decide they know more about what the OT means than the Spirit inspired NT writers! Man speaks with the authority of sinful humanism; the NT has the authority of the Holy Spirit.
Women should be silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak but should be subordinate, as the law also says. If there is something they want to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church. Or did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only ones it has reached? Anyone who claims to be a prophet or spiritual must acknowledge that what I am writing to you is a command of the Lord.
(1Co 14:34-37, NRSVue)
A flock of Sheep.
My mouth is watering...........I'll do this laterI have to get my pork shoulder started now or else we will be eating dinner at 1 am lol
I suppose that people like to use "ism" because it sounds smarter than "-ish."Ok do you go with this choice a if you do go with choice a he loathed isms i would say the Quakerhood is on the right path![]()
Women and children were much like the Muslim beliefs of today, a man's personal property.
Whenever a number of men are given it never includes property. That is assumed knowledge.
maybe some do friend but maybe there's more like that here than I realiseI suppose that people like to use "ism" because it sounds smarter than "-ish."
What worries do we have as long as He calls us "Mine"? Everyone does what they seem is right, one side believes that the other disrespects God, but God weighs the heart. This is why you won't often see me ever say, "I know this is right" very comfortably but rather, "This is what I think is right."maybe some do friend but maybe there's more like that here than I realise
well as long as your happy in your beliefs that the main thing for me .What worries do we have as long as He calls us "Mine"? I should have been more humble. So I'm sorry, ok?
If I said anything to you that just cant be true then you can be sure that I was speaking in humor. I had no way of knowing that your husband is ill. I'm sure sorry to hear that and I can pray for him.
I'd only know that I'm not right if I thought I could never be wrong. And anyone that would discourage freethinkers, as if no one could ever reach any right conclusions, instantly places themselves on my suspect list.well as long as your happy in your beliefs that the main thing for me .
But I wonder how you can ever get by with just thinking something is right can you truly be happy with that
yeah you know when your right about some things, and when something feels right, I guess tho you could be wrong to take action about some things , as you what you believe is right could be wrong.I'd only know that I'm not right if I thought I could never be wrong. Isn't that the, what's the word? risk? in the allowance of free thinking, though?yeah you know when your right about some things, and when something feels right, I guess tho you could be wrong to take action about some things , as you what you believe is right could be wrong.
But then your never always going to word your language, on the bases of you may not be right all the time are you![]()
Isn't that the, what's the word? risk? in the allowance of free thinking, though?
well I don't know if you call it risk, its more a case of you forget to be careful or maybe or you get fed up of with walking on egg shellsIsn't that the, what's the word? risk? in the allowance of free thinking, though?
If God saw fit to allow free thinking in the first place, to His own hurt even, then how are you or I to be any less accommodating of it? Even God, who provided perfectly good, valid, and sound reason not to think that the fruit was good for food, gave allowance to think otherwise.well I don't know if you call it risk, its more a case of you forget to be careful or maybe or you get fed up of with walking on egg shells

That'd depend on whether you believed in the reason to resist it.If God saw fit,
Well it's Diffacult to have a discussion based on a if, but yeah on that note I can always keep that in mind for sure.
Free thinking well isn't that just a thought.
So can something appealing give you a thought that you either can resist or you can't ?
I suppose it does yes, but can you know that is right, and not think it's rightThat'd depend on whether you believed in the reason to resist it.
