...he was prior to this, meowling outside my window at 2am in the mornings; punctual like a split second click on a swiss watch...., however I dissuaded him with a jug of water..., when I lost a few nights sleep due to his nocturnal activities...., he then decided to pursue other avenues of stimulation with the neighbour, and unfortunately met his untimely end..., and no one saw anything nor can they prove anything --- just 'circumstantial evidence'...

...he use to do a flying leap at the screen door and impale himself on it right at about the center, and then let gravity drag his claws ripping the whole screen to shreds as he moved towards the bottom of it...

...I then had 'his jewels' removed by a vet; and all of a sudden he was more interested in food rather than the feline variation of his 'race'...,and his anti-social activities diminished by a factor of about 40%, however he still insisted on flying onto the screen door and ripping it down every now and then...

...he was originally called 'George'...but that did not suit him - I sussed out his 'cat name' was 'Fiiirrtz' and oddly enough, when I leaned over to him, and in a deep monotone voice proceeded to vibrate his cat name into his ear, ...he got really anxious and started to meowl in a very bizarre manner..., it was kind of freaky..., and it happened every time I did this...so bizarre..., so it must have been his 'cat-name...

...however, he did meet his end at the point of the ex-nam vets rifle by all indications...

...poor ole' Fiiirrtz..., he lived out the dramas of his life in a dynamite stick of reality...., short but explosive...

All I can say is wow. Riiirrtz was dowsed with water, impaled himself on the screen door, had his jewels removed and was shot. Tough in the streets!

fo sho, I'm gonna du dat as well. And scramble together some eggs with some bits of ham and cheese. Then I'll scroll back like for posts if I have to. lol.
 
MissCris!? Eggs, ham and cheese. Grilled up and just plain good! Coffee, home made mocha style. You wouldn't eat that?

I looooove my hifi...I have an NAD surround T773 surround with the original British Celestion Ditton 44 as front speakers, Celestion DL6 as surround side speakers and Celestion TL10 as rear surround speakers...

...using a Rega Planar 3 turntable modified with isolated motor and rewired modified tonearm with solid silver wire; and a NAD C565BEE CD upsampling player ... for the home theatre setup... (its unfortunate the neighbour is not as appreciative of good hifi sound as I am)

...then I have an ME modified 550 amp by the designer Peter Stein, which I further modified with solid silver strips on the speaker output...coupled with a valve pre-amp I am in the process of building..., with my own version of an improved Rega Planar 3 ... with a solid slate slab and modified RB250 tonearm with solid silver wiring and isolated motor assembly...., for the 'private stereo only' listening room for vinyl LP's....super I must say....

I will be using ARCAM II speakers, I have remodified with Ansar solid silver capacitors for the crossovers (as I have for the Celestion Ditton 44's) and solid silver strips annealed for the speaker internals, as I have also done with my ProAC 'tablettes' (and Ditton 44's) which are a brilliant vocal speaker with a 'to die for' vocal stereo imaging character in sound reproduction...

...so one really needs to build and design a house around ones home surround and stereo system...to be realistic....overall... :D

You are into your audio. So you use a valve (tube) pre amp? You love analog more than I do. Sounds awesome.
 
I'm not a breakfast person either...but man..I think I could learn to be one if I lived closer to DED. LOL

...absolutely..., once you have a good analogue, it kills digital because it is based on natural circular 'sine-wave' rather than jagged square digital waves...

...saying that, the square waves - once smoothed out to an 'almost analogue' sound, can sound very distinct and crystal clear, but that natural element can't be beat with the analogue sound when properly done...

...I love my NAD565BEE upsampling CD player, but seriously....the Rega Planar 3 LP turntable (modded) kills it..., hands down...

TigerScent777, sounds like you are balancing the tonearm yourself? Is there a reason for the weight you are chooing?

You're preaching to the converted. I love vinyl. I have never modified a turntable or payed over 200 dollars for one but even so, it beats digital in my opinion already. I was wondering about the tone arm because I was told once that a heavy tone arm can destroy the grooves in your vinyl records. Is that true?

...you adjust the tonearm weight with precision jewellers scales. It all depends on the cartridge you use. The Rega RB300 I modified is a medium mass tonearm and suits a number of cartridges...I typically am using about 1.85 grams at present with my Shure MJ75 cartridge with Hyper elliptical stylus, but have an Ortofon 2M Blue ready in the waiting...

...but my own slate version of the Rega Planar 3 (with modded RB250 arm - better still), will have at least an Ortofon 2M Bronze version or preferably a MC cartridge like the Ortofon Rhondo Red or similar. I also am building a valve phono preamp via the Cornet2 design ( Hagerman Technology LLC: Cornet2 Vacuum Tube Moving Magnet Phonostage DIY Kit ) which will be super again...
 
Miss C...do you ever eat? I rarely hear you ever talk about eating...lol I hear about things you'd like to eat..or things you've burned. Oh wait! You have mentioned you were eating ice cream on several occasions. If this is what you live on...ummm how come yer' not the size of a house by now? lol

Ok, so, here's the low-down on MissCris's eating habits (FASCINATING stuff, I'm telling you...):

I drink coffee from sun-up to...whenever I stop, sometimes noon, sometimes sun-down.
Sometimes I eat half a pop-tart in the morning to set a "good" example for my son if he's refusing breakfast.
I eat lunch. Or I don't. Depends on if I'm really busy or not, usually.
I always eat dinner. I eat a LOT of dinner if someone else cooks it.
I strongly believe that ice cream cures a lot of things; crankiness, sleepiness, stress, and also ice cream cravings. And so I eat ice cream as often as I have it available in my freezer to eat...which is usually about 1 container a week. Or less. I don't know.
I'm not the size of a house, maybe, but since I don't believe in exercise, and I eat so strangely, I'm not particularly thin. And...
You've just been "educated" haha.
