I used to be jealous of being surrounded by girls who were being hit on while I was just left behind awkwardly. But there's this customer at work who has started hitting on me and being talkative, and all I can think is

It makes me feel awkward and I want to be polite and nice but I don't want to encourage him, either. For multiple reasons. What's worse is I didn't even know he was. I just heard my coworker say behind me "...he's hitting on you" after something that he said.

I don't know why I was jealous when I was younger (well, yes I do) but I'm actually thankful now that no one did because I do not like it!! Probably because I'm about negative 50% interested in him, and also it just seems so shallow and without purpose or care.

all I can say is, "Whipped cream explosion".
 
Well it's a good thing cause you would have been on this thread for two days just reading. I can barely keep up when everyone is in here posting. lol.
 
...I have never in my life had 'water in the knee' until overtraining without warming up --- two weeks now, and cannot train nor go to latin dance lessons...., slowly subsiding..., but not fast enough --- might try soda crystal poultices (sodium carbonate) to draw the water out..., what a bizarre experience...

...NEVER TRAIN without WARMING UP FIRST... is the lesson learnt...in this scenario...

...I miss training --- I want to train --- I feel lazy and slack with this condition --- and dance with nice ladies again :)

Yesterday I had to go to a sporting goods store to buy a new basketball and swim goggles for the kids. So we go, my son wants this NCAA 50 dollar basketball to throw around the driveway, my daughter wants this 40 dollar kickball so she can practice for her 4 to 6 year old kickball team, um no! So we go to the goggles area, OK you want those, fine, hey son do you want shaded one's for outside this time? Yes, he grabs a pair we leave. Me thinking both pairs are 13 dollars each. Get to the cash register pay. Get to the car look at coupon that came with receipt, son's goggles 25 bucks, what???? By this time I'm to tired to go back. Hope these goggles last a long time.
 
Maroon 5 is on the Today show the lead singer's hair doesn't move, that's fascinating. I wonder if he uses aqua net?
 
Apparently I was logged in all night. Huh. Things you forget to do when all you want to do is go to sleep.

In other news, maybe the wind will stop blowing today...

MissCriss I've been hearing about the fires in Colorado, that's some scary stuff. I will stop complaining about the weather here. Although we have some pretty harsh winters we don't get a lot of the stuff other places get, like earthquakes, tornadoes, etc. We also don't have Alligators and black widow spiders, so I'm staying put!

Choosing an area to live in is like playing Choose Your Natural Disaster.

Colorado is pretty good, really. Minimal earthquakes (I can only think of a couple that've happened in the last several years, and they were small), no hurricanes (duh! haha), not many tornadoes, especially on the western slope, not a whole lot of flooding (though if you're gonna build a house RIGHT. NEXT to a river, that's sorta...not a good idea...). Winters are a little crazy, but I'd honestly rather have blizzards than just about anything else. Summers have been pretty hard lately though, with the drought and the fires. We've been blessed over in my corner to have only had a handful of fairly small fires that didn't get to any homes.

We also don't have too many nasty critters or bugs, since it's not warm enough for long enough to attract them :D
...but we DO have black widows. In our house. There was a whole truck load of them in the basement when we moved in :/
 
I complain about Maine,but it's not so much the weather,it's just lack of fellowship with other christians or people near to my age that I have anything in common with,even outside of Jesus. The worst thing in Maine are the mosquitos. It's a local joke around here at least that it's the state bird. lol I don't find them any more annoying than the ones I did growing up in NY. The one place they had warned me about mosquitos was Haiti & I didn't see one or got bit the entire time I was there. Go figure?
 
A truck load of black widows and bird size mosquitos, not so good sounding in here this morning.
