They where made to believe by God speaking directly is there heart, the light that warms the heart. Your one crazy dude.

Luke 24:32 describes the disciples hearts burning as Jesus talked to them along the way. Peter was not a full believer at first he showed moments of doubt and denial before becoming a key figure in the church.

The prophets words where for everyone

Jeremiah
because the word of the Lord was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.

9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

And the word is for everyone to help them and make them believe written here

Deuteronomy 30:19

He made them "want" to believe.

You can't say that?

He made them "want" to believe.

You can't say that?
word salad again from you,.

Either God can make a person believe or he can't.

An unbeliever has to made to believe, it's in hundreds of scriptures,.

It's not me who's says it either it his word.

You are truly dogmatic of his word and your horrendous doctrines are of pure blasphemy,

I really can't be doing with you for much longer, I suspect seeing as you say your as old as you say you are, that time really is against you, and if your really as old as you say you are ? Which I don't know, 60 70 80 ?

And you say you have studied his word most of your life and been to colledge and your a good teacher, bla bla bla,

I can honestly say your either insane or your possessed

He made them "want" to believe.

You can't say that?

You know the only reason I've given you so much attention is because a good person here thought you may be worth it, the very person who was forgiving towards you even tho you condemned him to hell, and refused to repent after being asked 3 times

But really I can honestly say I can't see that now, with all conviction,
I'm going to put you permanently on ignore.

But one last scripture of God making people do

Psalm 23

King James Version

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

But some how in your extremely dogmatic head, an
unsaved person can't be made to believe

Anyhow good luck with your life your truly going to need it.

Ask any atheist what Christians believe about Jesus and the cross.

You will soon find out (if they are willing to speak to you) that they are well aware.
They just refuse to believe it.

The Gospel is hidden to the lost, in fact it's foolish to them 1 Cor 1:18

For the preaching of the cross[Gospel] is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God

The word perish is the same word lost. So again it is hidden to the lost , it's the power of God to the saved.

So much for Calvinism.....

Num 15:38
Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:

Num 15:39
And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:

2 Corinthians 4:3-4
The intentional meaning of those passages ARE veiled......BUT only to the Calvinist.
Rightly understood IN CONTEXT (the entire Bible ultimately), they are NOT veiled.
Key work: veiled.

Paul preached to every man. Those who CHOOSE to open their hearts to hear and to believe in His Son have the veil removed, and are freed from the power of Satan, and now enjoy true liberty.

2Co 4:2
But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
2Co 3:17
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

***************************************************************************************************************

Verses 3-4 are speaking to those who do not/did not RECEIVE the gospel, CHOOSE rather to believe Satan's lies, do his will, serve him, and walk his paths. Until such time as they DESIRE to walk into the light, and CHOOSE to repent and believe the Truth.

Deu 30:16
In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Deu 30:17
But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

Deu 30:18
I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.

Jer 13:10
This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.

Jhn 3:19
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

And yet God's will is that the door of grace remains open. Contrarily, the Calvinists' will is to slam it shut.

[2Co 3:15 KJV]
But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
[2Co 3:16 KJV]
Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

Mat 23:13
Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.

Spiritual blindness is the factor as to why some people can not grasp the gospel leading to spiritual darkness, as they are blinded by satan, there unable to accept the spiritual truths, a barrier that prevents belief or understanding.

Which has Absolutey nothing to do with your imaginary calvinists,

So much for Calvinism.....

again your just projecting false images and false idols,

God making a person believe is central to God first most, not your luny tune head.

Therefore, whichever one they are of (obedient or not), is not a function of themselves,
I would say that it is a function of themselves. The ones who are obedient have been renewed, the disobedient have not. So they function based on the condition in which they exist. God is under no obligation to regenerate all men.
Those who remain unregenerated will not, in fact cannot, be obedient. Natural man has no desire to be obedient. He is without hope, and God is blameless for the condition that he is in!

Not sure that I completely follow you, BillyBob. I think that if what you say true (if I'm fully understanding your point), then they would not/could have not been "appointed" to it. While they might not immediately become completely obedient all at once, when the spiritual heart becomes changed by God, the rest such as the mind and intellect, will/must definitely follow. Otherwise, God couldn't have used the word "appointed".

I dunno, are we actually saying the same thing?

Why not?

Calvinism where the Good News goes to be vanquished!!

The contrived and false soteriology of TULIP

This god is so insecure look at all the manifold ways he obstructs and obscures:
  1. hides the good news
  2. makes the good news esoteric in nature which requires special, unique, individual enlightenment  (gnostic)
  3. makes people born blind to the Good News
  4. makes people unable to hear the Good News
  5. makes people with a non-existent will
  6. makes people unable to exercise faith/belief, they can believe all manner of things but never ever the simple Gospel
  7. makes people unable to receive the gift
  8. makes people unable to reason, act, think, respond positively to his Good News
  9. makes people OBSERVERS of events infallibly coming to pass.... and on and on.
So this god makes people disabled from birth by design, but it seems that this is still insufficient in his effort to block and obstruct, he adds in an extra insurance policy and hides the good news just in case!!

I would really like to hear them turn to a spouse, child, or grandchildren, smile and say....

“I hope you make it to heaven, but you might go to hell and there is nothing you can do about it because you cannot respond positively to the Good News unless God gives you a new heart."

Bad exegesis once again >>>>> the new heart comes after exercising faith to receive salvation, not before!!

The word perish is the same word lost. So again it is hidden to the lost , it's the power of God to the saved.

For the natural man? What is foolish to them is how we can study about things like the Deity of Christ. The Rapture. The Millennium.
And the account of Adam and Eve. Etc....

Things that believers study *after* they are saved. Things that only those who are spiritual can get a handle on.

The unbeliever, who also rejects the Gospel, thinks we are trying to create a reason for our sin nature, which to them, is the normal state of mankind.

It is amazing how many Scriptures these free willers have to contradict and deny in order to cling to their idol of self.

There that's that, Magenta, but I think it's actually worse - it's a blatant refusal to recognize what was clearly placed right before his eyes, and to me, demonstrates natural man brought to his ultimate state.
