“O Jerusalem… How often I have longed to gather your children together… but you were not willing.” (Matt. 23:37)

“God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever will believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
(John 3:16)

“I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses; now choose life… Love the Lord your God.” (Deut. 30:19b-20a)
Yes the cross goes in both directions Gods relationship with you before the cross and after.

The choice you make is dependent on How well you've done when God was building your heart before the cross ,🤩

Before the cross In the old testament the fathers love is often seen as a guiding light leading people to his son 🙂

Yep it sounds more like he favoring the idea he needs to show that eve wasn't responsible for the fall of man, because of the hurt that women often have over the way men treat them.

Or that maybe people have blamed eve completely so he's being the hero to gain favor if you ask me.
The adversary ... satan ... was the instigator. Eve was duped ... Adam followed his wife. satan is behind every evil. we need to place the blame for evil where it belongs and not get hoodwinked by the conniving schemes of satan whereby the church, the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, is reduced to devouring one another. satan loves it when we fall for his deceptions.

Jordon said:
The truth is both eve and Adam where punished which means they where both guilty of something, how ever I believe when he clothed them both he was still loving them both.

Which means God is still life to the fallen. And the fallen are still in Gods life.

It's really important to understand tho that God decreed a plan and will before the events happened as to what to do.
right ... God knew satan would attack Adam and Eve ... God knew Adam and Eve would fall victim to satan ... God planned the redemption of mankind before He created, formed, made Adam.

I personally go with all names are in his book of life until blotted out. Because God is still life to the spiritualy fallen

Revelation 3.5, but his enabling grace comes first, by him knowing your future
Those who reject God's "enabling grace" are the ones who are blotted out ... so sad because God does not take pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked would turn from evil and live.

.

So eve and Adam took no notice Of Gods enabling grace then 🙂

If they have been "enabled" they cannot be in a place where they have "rejected" God.

that's back to front you can't reject God without being enabled, God has already rejected all mankind before the fall.

Afterwards in order to reject him you have to be enabled again.

It's called switching your lights on because there's nobody home

Repentance and faith enable us to access grace.

Repentance and faith enable us to access grace.
God's grace does not depend on you. It is due to His gracious, loving, merciful, and compassionate nature.

You did nothing to deserve it. I do believe that is why it is called grace.

Grace is often defined as the unmerited favor of God—something freely given, not earned or deserved.

Repentance and faith enable us to access grace.
Faith has to be enabled first by grace

For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord. ( The lords faith). Being built up in abram and his childrens children

God's grace does not depend on you.

1 Peter 5:5-6
Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders.
Yes, all of you be submissive to one another,
and be clothed with humility, for
“God resists the proud,
But gives grace to the humble.”
Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God,
that He may exalt you in due time.

Sounds to me that "choice" is very much involved with becoming a recipient of God's grace.

Believe the Word.

That was "deep"..... :giggle:
Well it's true that one can have a choice to put there socks on of a morning but if there not holy, they can soon will be, of cause this depends on how much walking you do 🤩

I'm finding it hard to believe lol

His omniscience is his, he has absolute knowledge with it to is what I said.

Looks like you just want to make everything wrong now. 😛

Yes, God has "absolute knowledge" due to his many eternal decrees -- the foundation upon which foreknowledge rests.

Really...who would have ever thought?

That is "A" backwards!

The reason God decreed all things is because He knows all things
Not, He know all things because He decreed all things!

He knows all possible things that might have/ could have/ taken place.
He knows if he gave you 1000 chances to get something right?
What it would be in the end what your ultimate choice would be.

It is for the efficient use of time that He has decrees.
His decrees have narrowed down all possible things that might have been, into what He determined will be all actual things to take place.

Have a nice Day....

Nope. You and other FWers get all backwards. Foreknowledge is grounded in Divine Prerogative -- what God plans and purposes. See Ex 3:19-20; 4:21; Act 2:22-23; 4:27-29; Rom 8:28. In this latter passage, note that God calls his saints, NOT according to his foreknowledge but according to his PURPOSE. And those whom He decreed to be in his plan and purpose He foreknew.

Which speak to man's DUTY, not his ability.

We can choose to be stupid as well....

Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but whoever hates correction is stupid.

I HAVE NO, IDEA WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE FOOLING.
