Yet they deny the depravity of man on a level that denies the need for grace enabling in the act of salvation.
No?

They think they are naturally good to some degree, not seeing that any good we may possess has its source in God, not ourselves.
Good grief man ARMENIANS. The people over there in Armenia.

Not Arminianism.....🤦

The simple fact that the reformed/calvie/tulip crowd is on this forum "arguing" is a testament against their belief system.

By their own admission none can understand them. Everyone is blind. They would be better off debating a fence post out in the cow pasture.

If they actually believed what they preach......they would remain silent. They don't have a prayer breaking through to anyone.....according to their theory.

The TULIP concept was conceived in an atmosphere that had become polluted by the tyrannical pontifications that the Roman
church had degenerated into.

So... breaking away, and having something to fight back with to remain free of the RCC tyranny was a major
motivating factor for the Reformation.

Problem was... They began fighting a terrible wrong too often with another wrong.
But, at least, it was their own wrong that they could live with.
One they could live with when it was compared to what they just removed themselves from.

Because of not knowing any better, many were conditioned to think it was a norm to live by dogma and legalism.
For example... That is where we get the strict Sabbath keepers and the likes today.

Without being able to think along with sound doctrine in the stabilizing power of God's grace, believers in the spiritual battle we find ourselves, inevitability become emotionally unstable.

Legalism became their escape hatch from the demand to work out their salvation in fear and trembling, giving them a cheap substitute which produces a pseudo stability, making them rigid and hateful, often in a controlled disguised manner, while thinking
they are being righteous for what they prefer to believe and do.

It's at present a parallel universe syndrome we must now live and become stabilized in until the Rapture comes.

That is why, only sound doctrine will make us free from the illusion that opposes God's way.

grace and peace ............

The important thing to note in Genesis 3:15.

Is that it was to be from the seed of the woman (not the man) that the Messiah would come into the world.
For it was through Adam's sperm that the sin nature entered the world, and has been passed down by males ever since.

That is why the Holy Spirit needed to supply the needed genetic material to fertilize the ovum of Mary to avoid the
fallen nature being transferred.

Unspoken details are to be found in treasure boxes buried along the way!
My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have
the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God,
namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Col 2:2-3

grace and peace!

agreed ... and "seed" in Gen 3:15 is singular ... not plural as Rufus continuously implies.

and totally agree that the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hid in the Lord Jesus Christ and that we are to diligently search to find those great and precious promises ...

2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

In yourself, maybe?

You almost have it perfected.

I'm not the one who exalts sinful humanity, dismisses the tragic, devastating effects of sin on the human mind, soul, body and heart of man or reduces God to a passive, cosmic fortuneteller.

That's the prophecy of the future Gospel. It's called first Gospel because it refers to the seed of Eve,Jesus, overcoming the seed of the serpent,Lucifer.(Light Bearer)
it was "gospel" at the time, which both Adam and Eve believed, then God made sacrifice (without shedding of blood is no remission) and covered their shame with the coats made from the animal sacrificed ... their sin remitted and their shame covered.

Total fabrication! The "Tulip crowd" really says that there are things (actually MANY) in scripture that are beyond our finite minds to understand comprehensively, such as Prov 20:24. Can anyone truly understand the length of Eternity? Can anyone truly understand the Trinity? The Incarnation of Christ? Yet, all true believers fully embrace these great and awesome truths.
