So is the Serpent's "seed" singular, even though we know from scripture that the Evil One has many offspring. So what is your point?
Also, the singular for the "seed of the woman" makes sense since God's elect (Christ's Body) were in Him all eternity. The Messiah and His Body are ONE! Just as God decreed enmity between the serpent and the woman's one seed, likewise the devil is the adversary also of Christ's Body (1Tim 5:14; 1Pet 5:8).
