Grace and peace."No we don't" what? We don't need to look elsewhere?
Grace and peace."No we don't" what? We don't need to look elsewhere?
I understand that.Nothing inconsistent between the 2 statements.
In case I'm not as smart as you suspect, please explain it to me.I understand that.
You are no fool. I believe you see EXACTLY what the implications are in those 2 statements.
Noting another tactic
My conclusion about hearing in what I said. Did I limit hearing to audible hearing or say that we'd need to look for it elsewhere?:
It looks to me knowing the intent of my interior man and reading the external presentation from it that I simply said we'd need to look elsewhere to discuss assertion that hearing is supernatural. I simply do not see it in the language of this verse and explained why.
It's wild and untamed around here.
The Gospel comes AFTER God gives the elect faith in Christ.
Can you quote the entire post. It is obviously a false statement. IF I wrote that, I wrote in error. Sure would like to see the entire post.ugh??
That is not in the Bible.

Great point. Even someone who didn't understand Chinese should be able to saved by hearing the gospel in Chinese.
in a nutshell ...So what is the difference in agape and philo? I know there is Google but I also like to ask people instead of looking it up.
Correct. Jeremiah 13 is chock full of free will, volition, choices and consequences.
And super-determinists take note: the wayward Israelites knew exactly what they were doing in sinning against the command of YHVH and were without excuse.
[Jer 13:10 KJV]
10 This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.
[Jer 13:11 KJV] 11 For as the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a man, so have I caused to cleave unto me the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah, saith the LORD; that they might be unto me for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear.
Note the cynicism and WILLFUL rebellion noted here:
[Jer 13:12 KJV] 12 Therefore thou shalt speak unto them this word; Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall say unto thee, Do we not certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with wine?
And yes, another swing and a miss for the super-determinists. This is to be expected as their views are contrary to Biblical truth.
Grace and peace.
Do you not know the post you quoted from. I'm interested to find the post and read it. Can you identify the thread and post number you quoted?Saving faith is not the gift in Ephesians 2:8.
It may not have been your post, as it looks like the coding had been messed up and our self-proclaimed great researcher missed that fact.Do you not know the post you quoted from. I'm interested to find the post and read it. Can you identify the thread and post number you quoted?
That isn't the post I'm referring to. I was referring to a post from @HeIsHere.It may not have been your post, as it looks like the coding had been messed up and our self-proclaimed great researcher missed that fact.

Yes, and I followed the links back (do you know how to do that?) to the post she had quoted which is what you asked about. That isn't the post I'm referring to. I was referring to a post from @HeIsHere.
No. Which post # is the one where I supposedly posted that?Yes, and I followed the links back (do you know how to do that?) to the post she had quoted which is what you asked about.

I don't see any such quote in the post you gave.It may not have been your post, as it looks like the coding had been messed up and our self-proclaimed great researcher missed that fact.

I gave the link. The first part of your post had messed up coding which looked like something someone else had said because it ended with the end quote tags, and the quote was messed up because there was no opening quote tag... so it is impossible to determine who said that opening part of the post. After the closing quote tag, is what you actually said, but heishere quoted the part before the closing quote tags.No. Which post # is the one where I supposedly posted that?
