This is personal for you Jordon. And it is not for me.

The Lord Jesus Christ died for all mankind. The Lord Jesus Christ FREELY offers salvation to all mankind. And ALL of mankind is given the opportunity at His FREE gift.

This is not my truth, It is His.

At times, I would like to be the judge, jury and executioner and make it personal, but His truth overrides my personal feelings and emotions.
Jesus didn't die for evil. Jesus died for the elect.

To use your mind as in using our logic and understanding? or do you mean a renewed one which conforms to the mind of Christ because I think the latter is what we should be doing

Brian...

In many ways, we can not know the Word of God until it is properly taught to the meaning that was intended.
Especially, what is intended in the original languages of Scripture, that can get too often skewed in mainstream translations.

There have been times when I was shocked to realize that we can not extract the intended meaning by merely reading a translation that made me feel a certain way.

Here is why...

Isaiah 55:8

For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

If what I said is truth?

Then, God must provide for us quality teachers.
2 Timothy 4:3, tells us that most teachers are not going to do the job as God wants it done.

For the GENUINELY seeking. Not simply because they were told it is good to be seeking.
They find themselves seeking and will refuse to settle.

Proverbs 3:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
I have been sharing with others one particular teacher who pastors themselves have listened to for their own private study.

He is not the only one. But the only one I have found to teach on such a level that has what is needed to bring Christians into full maturity in Christ.

If he is right for you?
The Spirit will bear witness to it.

Heart and mind are two different aspects that are operational in the Soul.

The Greek word for heart is "kardia" (καρδία), which refers not only to the physical organ but also figuratively to the center of a person's thoughts, emotions, and will. In biblical contexts, it represents the inner self and is crucial for understanding human nature and spirituality
Nous (νοῦς) is a Greek word that translates to "mind," "understanding," or "intellect." It is derived from ancient Greek philosophy and is often associated with the faculty of the human mind necessary for grasping truth and reality.

We learn Bible truth with our "Nous."
When that truth is being made operational in our spiritual life, it is done so by means of the "Kardia."

The Bible in the original languages indicates that the "kardia" is operational in the brain's right lobe
And, the "nous" is operational in our brain's left lobe.

My pastor broke that down (Right-lobe and Left-lobe) from the Hebrew and Greek texts, while teaching a history of those words.

Grace and peace ............
ok that makes sense well sort of I am not savy with the greek but yeah it makes enough sense that I can understand it

Jesus didn't die for evil. Jesus died for the elect.

Jesus did not die for your evil.
He only died for your sins.

We will all be evaluated to see how much evil we walked in.
False doctrine is evil.

And, when evaluated, hopefully, be shown that we had preferred and walked in divine good.

1 Corinthians 3:11-15
For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay or straw,
their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be
revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been
built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss
but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

After testing through fire, some will have nothing to show other than they had believed in Jesus Christ.
Others will receive crowns and rewards. (gold, silver, and precious stones)

We all started out ignorant.

Well it isn't going to be renewed if you don't bring it to the word and think about what is said.

What I guard against is this talk of "the Spirit makes the truth known because you feel it in your heart" type of stuff that goes round as that is how the Mormons speak.

We need to think about what is being said with honest rationale. Coming away with the truth will depend upon our humility in facing it for the Spirit cannot teach the proud, arrogant or those who simply refuse to use their brains.
Hmm... so you don't think that the spirit leads us to all truth? you would rather use your minds capability to understand?

your a liar, Personal is the fact that you and your crew keep calling us Calvinist and reformed and whilst claiming your personal walk is better knowledge than ours, or that we don't know Gods love or kindness, whilst you lot think you do, but you only show ill manners every single day.

I don't think you understand exactly what your judging me with. A personal walk with God is not just about you and him, as much as you would like to make out that's where we are all all about, and your not included, as that's generally the Jelouse premise you and your crew lead from.

They are the same in that both require thought. They are not the same in that the mind is "flexible" (one needs to be ready to change one's mind when learning some new truth) whereas the heart holds one's core tenets and should not be changing so readily.

For example, one believes in their heart Christ rose from the dead and this should not change but what that means and how it is applied to everyday life should see our thinking change as we learn more of the word.

What you hold in your heart is based on your thoughts, not how you feel.
Well yes that makes sense but I never said it was how one feels rather I said it is how one hears the spirit of God I mean do you ever hear his voice in your mind or do you hear him inside your heart?

That enemy of which you speak happens to be his brothers and sisters in the Lord. He has been just as insulting and rude refuses any correction himself. You would do well to see for yourself but I know this would prove difficult for you due to your sight issues.

Don't encourage him please, he needs to stop whining about others. He is in no position to judge the rest of us.
Just from what I have seen from him you are absolutely correct and I do not wish to encourage him in any way but he does need to be told off and take accountability not that he would of course

this doesn't answer the lies you've just made about me.

Yep @Genez has made his intentions clear, at first I thought he may just be saying things he doesn't really mean, and he's just lashing out because of personal issues and stuff.

But no he means it alright, and he's carrying his threats through, which is scary to be on the receiving end.

He makes me feel uncomfortable and uneasy to come here and talk with you good brothers.

He said last week my days where numbered here, and since then hes been doing his best to have me hated, even pleading with people to join in with his hate campaign against me.

Even saying things like I'm no good because I don't believe in the rapture, and I've never even talked about the rapture here.

He's a bad egg poisoning the well, and the lady who he has badly missed treated magenta doesn't even post in this thread anymore

And the sad part is she has only ever posted the truth here.
I am so sorry you had to deal with this I was in your position on here a couple years ago
As for the situtation at hand it may be best to walk away even though it may be they follow you around the forum like certain people did to me a couple years ago

You just love to wallow in that false doctrine. Don't ya?

There will be no excuse for you.
For others will see through it and stay far away.

Learn this:

God does not pull any punches....
When need be?
He lets us have it right between the eyes.

Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but whoever hates correction is stupid.

No not really. On the contrary, a lifetime of dedicated effort and a PhD is not nearly sufficient.
The Scriptures have fractal features, holographic type phenomenon and have definitely code-like structures embedded within.

@studier might be interested in this Samson series. Staggering stuff. Divine watermarks galore.

There idea of God is God can't make you love him, and you can't make me do anything, and you cant make me agree. It's generally there theme, that they have there will and desire to say and do as they please, and if you dont like it, then tuff, they stomp there will out everyday here.

They are a laws unto Themselves ,twisting our every word
