They are not truly blaming me when they refer to me as Pelagian, heretical, natural man, deluded, blind, or any other term they choose to use. They are blaming God's "unchangeable, sovereign decree," according to their own theology. After all, per Calvinism, that is what led me to hold my beliefs. My ideas, conclusions, theology, and rejection of Calvinism were all shaped by His unchangeable, unalterable eternal decree. They can label what I believe heresy if they so choose, but if Calvinism is accurate, they have just labeled God's eternal decree as heretical. Naturally, they will never acknowledge that. They will either conceal themselves behind the mystery curtain, spiritualize it, or speculate about it. However, the reasoning is too simple: if everything, including my theology, was predetermined by God, then their fight is with God, not with me. And they are aware of it.They therefore require presuppositions. They must therefore use "His thoughts are not my thoughts and His ways are not my ways”, as well saying “mystery" to conceal their discrepancies. They must therefore say “You’d have to ask God that” to conceal confusion. Calvinism persists because it is shielded by excuses, not because it is biblical or logical.
