There is only 1 mediator between God and men. If you aren't in Christ, you are in trouble.

Adonai Eloheinu appears throughout the age of Israel, who later became Jesus Christ (in the Incarnation) who always was the go-between for man and God.

Job mentions the Lord God as his mediator.

I know that my redeemer lives,
and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
And after my skin has been destroyed,
yet in my flesh I will see God;
I myself will see him
with my own eyes—I, and not another.
How my heart yearns within me!

Job 19:25-27

I'm not confusing anything. The Bible gives progressive revelation. This doesn't mean that the things revealed later weren't always true. There is only 1 mediator between God and man. This has always been the case. This isn't the result of the Incarnation or the cross. Either an individual is in Christ or they remain in Adam. There is no other option.
You are not getting what I am saying.
For I agree with what you just wrote.

Who will be chosen out from the 12 tribes of the Jews.
We may have lost track. But, God knows who they are.

You do not know that?

Revelation 7:2-8

Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God.
He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm
the land and the sea: “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal
on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” Then I heard the number of those who
were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.
From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed,
from the tribe of Reuben 12,000,
from the tribe of Gad 12,000,
from the tribe of Asher 12,000,
from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000,
from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000,
from the tribe of Simeon 12,000,
from the tribe of Levi 12,000,
from the tribe of Issachar 12,000,
from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000,
from the tribe of Joseph 12,000,
from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.
Those are definitely not gentiles.
you might want to read rev 14 where the 144.000 are standing at mount Zion with the lamb, they are the saints of the old, I agree but they all of would of followed the lord in the old t too

Jesus is God. He also is said to be the only mediator between God and man. Job was correct that God was his mediator. He now knows Him more fully as Jesus.

For all people not in the church age?
If they are not believing in Christ, they are in trouble.

Only the Church is IN CHRIST after believing.
We are in Him, like the body of Eve was in Adam before she was to be revealed.

Where was the body of Eve before God put Adam into a deep sleep to remove flesh and bone?
She was where? "In Adam."

We are now "in Christ" awaiting the Resurrection for us to be revealed in bodily form.

I don't believe it only refers to the church age; simply revealed during the church age. This is why Christ revealed the truth concerning Abraham that Abraham saw His day and rejoiced. It is also why Job recognized God as his redeemer. While they understood less than we do today, they had to be in Christ in order for Christ to be their mediator. Otherwise, they remained in Adam. There is no third option.

Does anyone recall:

Not By Works Began 2017:
"It does not get any plainer..........Our righteous works have ZERO to do with Salvation!"
Ended: 2025 = "
...there may be another truth not being seen by either,
which IMHO could be the right harmonization of the two opinions." =

In 8 years this old horse was "beat to DEATH" = 154,089 Times!

Now this thread has 23,353 = are you'all aiming for the same thing?

Where is Encouragement, Edification, and building up The Body of Christ in all of this
beating???

Amen.

Hello Chris :).Edification is in many posts that are often and most likely ignored, contradicted, and outright denied by the free will folks and Pelagian heretics who substitute their opinions for what is explicitly articulated in Scripture. Nor is it beneath them to rewrite the very words of our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ Himself. But coming in once a month or whatever, you may miss it or simply not be aware of either, just as we had people enter the NBW thread and slam it even though they had read next to none of the thread. One guy claimed he read over 50,000 posts in about 20 minutes. Heh. And we are to believe him? Many people were helped by that thread, in case you did not know that either. The OP was banned just over 5 years ago, and it has not been posted in anywhere near as often as it it used to be since.

well what's left if we can't defend the will of the father over mans own will.

By the looks of it nothing seeing as you state people have given up so much already and no longer defend what's important to them, because of people getting there way,

If we give up to the fathers will as not being important enough to talk about anymore we may well just let the devil run this site.

I've probably posted a 1000 to 1500 posts encouraging people to live by the will of the father m in tbis thread 🤩

No. A partial preterist.

how I can know when to tell when a prophet jumps from talking about fleshly to spiritual Israel, symbolic or figurative language? Prophecies can be tricky because they mix immediate historical events with foreshadowing of ultimate spiritual realities. So it’s difficult for me to know when they are talking about something in their day, and then in that same chapter pointing toward the future. Any advice?

When the prophets such as Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, etc etc were prophesying to Israel, were they looking toward and prophesying about the New Testament/church age?

It is God Who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose. Apart from Me you can do nothing. No word from God will ever fail. “It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” Those who heard this asked, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
