Melisa has an apartment in the Knoxville area close to her work.
Her room here where we live was empty but we recently purchased another bed and set her room up again so she would have a room to sleep in when she visits. We all had a nice Thanksgiving. She stayed another day and left on Saturday. I surprised her by buying a teddy bear for her that was placed on her bed. Loves the little Care Bear.
Yes, it snows but only on a few days a year. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Get about 5 - 10 inches a year.

Obama was the de-facto president during Biden's term. He probably used the auto pen to sign a bunch of stuff, most of which was out Biben's knowledge. For sure, someone or a few on Biden's staff used the pen without prior approval from the president.
An Afghan refugee legally in America just shot two National Guard people. Not a good recommendation for unrestricted immigration, even legal. Australia is no wiser. We do not require immigrants to respect the values that our society is built on. So we have Muslims doing their best to take over this country and bring us under Sharia law. Britain, where I was born, is de facto a Muslim state. France is not much better. Some European nations are realising the threat and restricting immigration. It's bit late for that.
I am well aware that migrants want to get away from their miserable lives. I don't blame them, but there are right and wrong ways to go about it. And too many get here and then complain that our society is not like theirs. This applies more to Muslims, but not them only. Australia now has a housing shortage, the health system is under strain, rents and housing is unaffordable for most and some people work three jobs just to survive. Governments don't care. Migration gives the appearance of economic growth. It's an illusion, but it is what it is.
Politics seems to have become more polarized but in actual fact it always was or has been, it is just that now we are exposed to more people's opinions around all things, and you know what they say about opinions, heh. Yes, Luna is my cat, my daughter insisted I get a cat eleven years ago, five months after my other cat had been put down after her relatively long life of seventeen years. My daughter lives with two cats now, and two dogs... I cat sit in the summer when she and her aunt holiday with their dogs, one of which has recently gone deaf coming up to being 15 years old, and who people always ask, how old is your puppy? LOL. Both of their dogs are incredibly sweet and well behaved for dogs, very happy creatures eager to please and quite affectionate. My daughter is still working at the animal hospital and she does take very good care of her animals... thankfully my own requires very little as long as she is fed .. Although I do notice after having her with me when cat-sitting that she is more needy after coming home haha.
How are you liking being in Tennessee? Does it snow enough in winter? Is Melissa still with you?
I love Tennessee we have been here almost 5 years now and the weather is so much better here even though we get some snow. Not enough to really cause problems but enough to enjoy and being I was born in December I love the snow. Melisa lives over in Knoxville as that is a larger city and easier to find a job but it is just about an hour and a half away from us so she visits frequently.
Strange the way he thinks is to say something he KNOWS is false enough until people get on board with it in trying to change a clear lie into the truth BUT what is Really scary is that you would think Christians would be wise as serpents and harmless as doves even if they DID support him but it seems to me they are fully on board with Everything he says.
There's one main reason why people who call themselves Christian keep following him: In their minds he's better than the alternative. They know he's evil, but he's the lesser of the two evils. Fine state of affairs we find ourselves in.
No one is "following" him.

He seems to be absolutely obsessed with bashing Trump! It's called TDS. There were only two choices, and the alternative will only end up leading America into a dystopian society which should repulse any genuine Christian.
You probably would not want to hear their message if they gave one. One of them would cackle every 2 minutes about nothing and the other would go off script and get angry and say something like 'Just who do those shepherds think they are? I say fight them!'
Nah, Christians believe the best and are rooting for Trump to do well for the sake of the country and he is on many issues.
Liberals support exterminating innocent babies and brainwashing children in to becoming sex perverts so no matter how bad they think Trump is, he'll always be above liberals because he isn't a abortion supporter or a sexual perversion supporter.
There's no such thing as a real Christian that supports killing babies and recruiting children in to sexual perversion.

I think a lot of Christians say they are pro life but they support the death penalty so I think that's disingenuous.
I started out as an independent as I didn't know what I really thought about politics to start with. Then I was a Republican for many years until Bush Jr. came along and rubbed me the wrong way. Switched to Democrat.
I don't totally agree with any of them and I am not a straight party voter either I vote for who I think is the best at the time and I have even written my name in twice so I have had two votes for president even if they were my own. I couldn't possibly do any worse than the current president.
You would probably do better. If there is a woman candidate that is nominated in 2028, I would seriously consider voting for her regardless of the party. Getting sick of all of these guy presidents who think that they are all that and a bag of chips.
I'm just of you/y'all. Do they panic about an inch of snow down there like they do up here?
