I was thinking this morning during our family devotion time about trump and I came to the conclusion that he is an example of Satan about as close as you can get and here are my reasons for coming to that conclusion.
1. Trump constantly lies about any and everything. One of the latest examples is that the ballroom he is building would be next to the east wing of the White House and we all know by now that he has torn it down.
John 8:44 (NIV): "When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
2. He doesn't feel the need to ask God for forgiveness.
Satan went beyond not wanting to ask for forgiveness as he wanted God's position.
Isaiah 14:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:13-17 "I will ascend into heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God... I will be like the Most High". This desire for power and authority over God led to a rebellion and his subsequent fall from heaven.
3. He has no regard for the 10 commandments. Adultery, lying, murder, etc. Cheating on all of his wives, killing people off the coast of Venezuela, putting immigrants in prisons/death camps in the US and other countries.
Satan has no regard for God's laws.
Daniel 11:37, where a figure "magnifies himself above all" gods and shows "no regard for the gods of his fathers," and 2 Thessalonians 2:4, which describes the "man of lawlessness" exalting himself above "every so-called god or object of worship".
4. No empathy for those less fortunate as in people with disabilities, families needing food assistance, lower income families needing help with healthcare.
Satan doesn't care about us either and hates us because Jesus died to save us.
While no single verse states "Satan hates humanity," the Bible describes Satan's hatred and animosity toward humanity, particularly in verses like Revelation 12:12-17, which speaks of his great wrath because his time is short and his war against believers. John 8:44 connects Satan to murder and lies, saying, "He was a murderer from the beginning" and "has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him," and Genesis 3:15 foreshadows an ongoing "enmity" between the serpent (Satan) and humanity.
So there you have it my thoughts this morning and it pains me to see how far America/Americans have fallen to support someone who's character is so closely aligned with Satan.
