Yes the Gospel continues to be misunderstood..by those who take Paul's Gospel and read that back into scripture prior to the revelation given to Paul by Jesus.

Yes Acts 15 ..Which is over 10 years after Acts 2 and after Paul's conversion and after Cornelius ( Gentiles granted repentence, )transitions abounding.

Acts 2.38 is not a plan of salvation for today .. It was what Israel had to do because they crucified Their messiah. Nothing in Acts 2 is aimed at anyone but Israel and proselytes, Their children and all those Jews afar off ect ( Jews )( Acts 2 .11 ,19 )

I agree with that. Revelation is progressive as it goes forward however .

ACTS is transitional, so its daft to pick the beginning of a transitional book of 28 chapters and call that the plan of salvation ( 2.38 ) literally insane .

Thinking slowly through this ,why would you ( or anyone) choose Acts 2.38 in a transitional book consisting of 28 chapters spread over many years and say thats the plan of salvation today ? literally makes no sense . But here we are many denominations landing on Acts 2.38 ? crazy !

I take I take each verse and believe what it says ,in context . I don't base it on over arching, fluffy assumptions. Like ' core truth ' ( What ever that means ) . I don't base what I believe on majority opinions or wanting to agree with the in groups to appear orthodoxy.

I've already mentioned the exceptions to his programme where he came only to the Jews . Like the verse said . He says himself he wasn't sent but unto the lost Sheep of the house of Israel . Thats his earthy mission in the four gospels. Then in Acts later , 10 years after God grants repentance...
