It doesn't say they can't believe. No where says this. God is pleased to save those that believe, not cause belief in those he saves. (1 Cor. 1:21; Rom. 10:9-10) You don't have any verse that directly SAYS what you believe. That should alarm you .

Was Paul regenerated prior to Acts 9 ? He believed God ,was blameless in the law ,from the tribe of Benjamin ect ? Why was Cornelius regenerated ( according to you ) and Paul not .. Paul was at least a Jew .

A believer today has christ in them . He is indwelt by the Holy Spirit . He is always ' abiding ' , permanently. This was not happening until after Acts 2 .

Jesus had that power and authority to forgive sins ect . But not until he went to the cross , the resurrection and the giving of the Holy Spirit did people get redemption . They were not regenerated or indwelt until Acts 2 .

For your system to hold it needs to provide one scripture which says man cannot believe the Gospel unless regenerated first. Why didn't God say this ? Was it too difficult? Why is everything inferred?

Eph 1 .13 1 cor 1.21 does however. Irresistible grace is said no where in scripture. Not one major doctrine of Calvinism is said in scripture. Why is that ? Can God communicate directly or not ?
