Your comment is both factually incorrect and thoroughly inappropriate. Dying to yourself is completely distinct to "dissolving oneself in God". Though its teaching may contain a few snippets of valid wisdom, Buddhism is not truth.

Except when you can’t demonstrate that Scripture says what you say it says. That’s a Buddhist concept, not a biblical one.

You claimed that private ownership arises from a lack of love. The verses you cite don’t support your claim, so my question stands: where does Scripture teach that private ownership arises from a lack of love?

Where is that in Scripture?

One can make a case from Scripture both that you are free to remarry and that you are still bound to your ex-spouse. You have to sort it out for yourself by doing the homework. The clearest situation is where you were faithful but your ex cheated.

I read through all of Niki7's posts on this thread, and don't consider a single one "rude" let alone "very rude", so methinks you have a perception problem: anything other than wholehearted embracing of your ideas is offensive to you. Entitled millennial snowflakes have the same attitude...

While those verses in isolation may suggest a simple form of communal ownership of goods (which is not "communism", by the way!), Peter's question to Ananias in Acts 5:4 refutes that idea. Private ownership of goods was still practiced and affirmed. Paul refutes it further when he asks Timothy...

There are many previously-divorced folks here. By the way, divorce is an event, not a status.
