Do you hear God speak to you?

Our thoughts origins are not our own. We choose which way to go. What is from God, who is Love, is love, truth, humbleness, mercy, etc.. What is from the devil is carnal, thoughts for self, greed, lies, envying, etc.. He deceives the whole world to believe going for our carnal worldly nature...

Do you hear God speak to you?

Everybody currently hears the Lord and his angels who provide us illumination. Likewise, however, everybody also hears the devil and his angels who provide us false illumination (2 Corinthians 11:14). People simply do not recognize the origin of their thoughts. They assume they're from their own...

What is the order of Melchizedek

An order of one or two sounds kind of strange to me.

What is the order of Melchizedek

With no beginning and no end to Melchizedek, and to the Lord, I then speculate those of us who belong to this order may likewise have no beginning or end.???? There are these passages in the book of Job in which the sons of God present themselves before the Lord (Job 1:6 & 2:1), of whom later...

    The Abomination of Desolation

Before Steven is stoned to death, which precedes (Acts 8:1), we see Peter and other apostles converting thousands in Jerusalem daily to the faith. This conversion to the faith could not have been going on for very long, as all Jerusalem contained fewer than a couple hundred thousand people at...

    The Abomination of Desolation

There is this documentary on PBS about Jerusalem in 70 AD I saw a couple of years ago, (I can't remember the title), which shows prior to the Roman invasion, Jerusalem had turned into complete lawlessness, with murders, rapes, sodomy, and other crimes being commonplace. Do you think there were...

    What is the Narrow Path?

Yes, our faith in Jesus' Way, that what we believe in our hearts, is what overcomes our carnal inclinations.

    The Abomination of Desolation

When the Romans sacked Jerusalem in 70 AD, Christians had already been exiled from Jerusalem and Judea (Acts 8:1). They who were in 70 AD Jerusalem were the faithless who years earlier had exiled the faithful. As such, the Lords wrath fell upon the faithless in Jerusalem to the uttermost (1...

    What is the Narrow Path?

1 John 2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world...

    What is the Narrow Path?

I agree, loving God is a process of growth. I believe it has to do in part with overcoming the love man has for this world.

    What is the Narrow Path?

Jesus is the son of God, and as such is the son of love, for God is love (1 John 4:8 & 16). They who know love, love (God and His Son) knows them. They who do not know love, love (God and His Son) does not know them. 1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 16 And we have...

    What is the Narrow Path?

Yes, If you know Jesus. THere will be many who will think they knew Jesus, to whom the Lord will reply He never knew them (Matthew 7:23). Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many...

    The Abomination of Desolation

What do you think the Lords anointed are threshing in this verse? Isaiah 41:15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.

Do you hear God speak to you?

Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

    The Abomination of Desolation

You may choose to believe that they in Judea when they see the abomination that maketh desolate should then run to them low hills where they are to hide out for 1,260 days; but I choose what mountains often refer to in the bible, and that is: large nations. It makes a lot more sense to me, than...

    The Abomination of Desolation

    Barely hills.

Do you hear God speak to you?

Agreed. I believe I see the global economic collapse in Revelation 6, with the four horses and their riders representing the chaos going on throughout the world, prior to the beasts rise from the sea and initiation of his system.

    The Abomination of Desolation

"then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. " What's interesting is that Judea has no real mountains to speak of. It's tallest mountain, Mount Carmel in Northern Israel tops out at 1,794 feet. As such, and since mountains in the bible often denote large nations, might it be that...

Do you hear God speak to you?

I believe you are speaking about committing oneself to believing Christ totally, as in discipleship. I don't know how many of us today do that, where we don't trust in currency or material goods. Something very drastic would have to occur in order to create disciples as in the first century.

    What is the Narrow Path?

Narrow is the Way who few find, while broad is the way, and many there are that choose it. If you love God/love and your neighbor, you are on the narrow path. If you love automobiles, hobbies, investments, politics, etc., etc., etc., you are then on the broad path.
