Is there a difference between the new and old covenant?

Well it’s like being drunk vs acting drunk. The law and the old covenant was like trying to act drunk with no alcohol. Jesus and the new covenant was like being drunk and it (alcohol/Holy Spirit) producing all the actions to fulfill the law (drunk actions).

Did Jesus Have an Advantage over Pre-Fall Adam During the Incarnation?

What do you mean “during the incarnation”? Not sure if Jesus had an advantage over us. He did say that “no teacher is greater than his master, but if he tries hard he might learn as much.” So if Jesus is better than us and our teacher, then we will learn more than if a man taught us.

Can the nonelect ever be born-again? (2 Kings 22:27) With the elect thou wilt be elect: and with the perverse thou wilt be perverted.

Hmm tough one. Have you ever read the book Bruchko? In it a missionary leads native South American tribes to Jesus. They were all perverse but got saved and changed. Why didn’t Jonah just jump off the boat?

There is the obvious Death Burial and Resurrection but there’s a reason he had the sailors throw him in. They didn’t want to do it at first, but finally they feared for their lives and did it.

The Torah is Still Binding and We Must Obey It

Dude, we’re just arguing at this point. It’s like two congressmen preaching morality to each other. The OP left this discussion long ago. How old are you? Do your mom and dad know you’re on their computer down stairs?

Why didn’t Jonah just jump off the boat?

So it’s a mystery. There’s probably a reason, just like the reason Saul never repented, or Jesus made mud and spread it over the bling man’s eyes (why not just heal him with a spoken word).
