🖐️🔥 Laying hands for healing today?

I was watching a Church Camp Message off the internet a couple days ago. The Preacher preached an amazing message and when he finished the home church Pastor prayed for him. As they were praying, the home Pastor put his hands upon the visiting Preacher and the man almost stumbled. Then the...

I am going to share something that many here will just deny the possibility of it. But this is the Thread for it.

🖐️🔥 Laying hands for healing today?

When the discussion turns to healing and faith so many in here immediately go to the word of faith doctrine and bash it. And honestly, it's no different than turning God's Grace into the 5 Graces doctrine [TULIP]. If anything, Paul described God's Grace as having the Joy, Peace, and Favor of...

Did Jesus Die on The Cross for The Just/Elect/Saved Whose Names Are Written in The Book of Life OR

Just tossing this into the mix here. One of the proponents of quenching the Spirit is to not obey what the Spirit is telling us to do. First of all, the Spirit confirms everything Jesus did, said, put into place...the Great Commission. If you follow the idealism that God has predestined...

People are what verse 9 details of the Plan of God [4-8]. Ephesians 1: 9 He made known to us the mystery of His will, in keeping with His good pleasure that He planned in Messiah. Once we become saved we are verses 4-8 because we are in Jesus.

Did Jesus Die on The Cross for The Just/Elect/Saved Whose Names Are Written in The Book of Life OR

Our Wonderful God knows the End from the Beginning. But the Plan of God to fulfill verses 4-8 was made to happen through Jesus, the Messiah. Once Jesus was DBR, verses 4-8 became possible.

Ephesians 1: 9 He made known to us the mystery of His will, in keeping with His good pleasure that He planned in Messiah. Has nothing to do with predestination. Verse 9 explains Ephesians 1:4-8. It's all about the Plan God made in the Messiah.

It seems we have a solid grasp upon what the true meaning of [Total Depravity] means by some of the explanations within this Thread. I wish then to say from those explanations my understanding of them. Which simply put, a person born into this world has no ability to seek after God for...

Did Those Who Were Never of The Elect Ever Have Free-Will?

I actually do not see anywhere in these verses that those who did good and those who did evil were made to do what they did or they did them because they wanted to do it that way. It's just a blank statement of people who either did good or did evil.

Actually, Paul's point is that sin brought death. And even though sin was not counted as sin death was still counted as death. Which could be what you said but in different terms. Does the Law exist today?

Not saying I disagree or anything here: Paul said when there is no Law that sin does not count as sin. 13 For up until the Torah, sin was in the world; but sin does not count as sin when there is no law. So are you saying the Law exists "now" and that sin counts as sin? We know in the time of...

Actually, I do have the Fall of Adam in mind. I am just taking what Jesus said. And Paul said because of Adam Sin and Death entered into the equation. But look at the following verses from Paul: 13 For up until the Torah, sin was in the world; but sin does not count as sin when there is no...

No, but I took those 2 verses and tried them out in every possible meaning and knowing that David is saved and that Peter is talking about children of saved people just appears to be as it is written. Why would a saved person see their child in Hell? It makes more sense they would see them...

And that is the million dollar question. When is a baby sinful? At what point will a baby/child begin sinning? From Adam to Noah, man chose who he would believe and we see from Seth to Noah they believed. And they were natural men. It wasn't until Abram/Abraham people were circumcised...
