If homosexuality is a sin, then why didn't Jesus say anything about it?

No, I didn't look at the link, but now I just did, and I really don't want to have to wade through that to try to figure out what you're meaning to say.

    OT Salvation?

G3433 μόλις molis (mol'-is) adv. 1. with difficulty If the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Proverbs 11:31

I'm not interested in playing these types of games. If you can't hear "you stand by faith. Do not be highminded, but fear. For if GOD did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you." there's nothing I can do for you.

    Where is that written?

If homosexuality is a sin, then why didn't Jesus say anything about it?

Explain why that complicates anything. Don't force your modern linguistic expectations or norms on an ancient writing, or Paul's style.

The holy spirit only abides in our hearts through faith. GOD is long suffering, but he does not endure forever those who deny him through unbelief. And do not grieve the holy spirit of GOD in which you are sealed into a day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30 if we endure, we will also reign with...

    OT Salvation?

It's not hard for GOD to save the righteous, but it doesn't come without difficulties for the righteous. And if they are saved through difficulties, how will the ungodly be saved who do not love the truth enough to suffer for it?

If homosexuality is a sin, then why didn't Jesus say anything about it?

I think the implication is pretty clear since he says in Romans 1:26 that both females do such-and-such and males do likewise (in verse 27).

If homosexuality is a sin, then why didn't Jesus say anything about it?

Even is not a good translation of that word (τέ) in Romans 1:26. Both is a better translation because it ties in with verse 27 (For both females ... and males...) G5037 τέ te (teh') prt. 1. both or also

Jesus spent 3.5 years with his disciples making the terms of the covenant he made with them very clear. There is unconditional forgiveness of sin, but abiding in that grace and salvation is by no means unconditional.

Which (i.e., his perfect obedience) makes our justification and redemption possible despite our having imperfect faith.

I asked essentially the same thing and was given the non-answer that Jesus was perfect.

That's not the way the covenant works. Believers don't become unjustified when they sin. Believers become unjustified when they become unbelievers, break the covenant and abandon the faith.

That doesn't mean that someone forever enters into unending life - the race doesn't end at the starting line - it means they have received the surety, or down payment, that guarantees they will receive the full inheritance if they continue in the faith.

Yes, a lot of people, but I think it's really only the Roman Catholics who believe that way.

    OT Salvation?

He sure did. Whether he knew all of the details or not is irrelevant. All of the pre-flood sons of GOD knew of and believed in the coming redeemer.

    OT Salvation?

From Adam until now all people are saved in the same way - faith in GOD and departing from sin. All Israel will be saved as it is written, "The deliverer will come out of Zion and will turn ungodliness from Jacob; and this is my covenant with them" (Isa. 59:20, 21), when I remove their sins...

I think a tremendous part of the confusion about saving faith centers around the fact that Greek uses only one word for faith (some derivative of πίστις), while the English language uses two words for faith (belief/believe and faith) that can have two different meanings. The Greek πίστις...

That's an unrealistic standard that's not supported by scripture. Abiding faith is key, not a perfect faith. Where did you ever get that idea?

Salvation apart from an abiding faith is salvation by knowledge, i.e., gnosticism.
