Should homosexuals be put into jail?

Of course it is. You just choose a definition that suits you.

Should homosexuals be put into jail?

Free will predates the Greeks; as it is written, "Choose this day who you will serve", and "I set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore, choose life".

Should homosexuals be put into jail?

That's probably my main issue with what he believes. I have gotten the impression from reading some of his stuff that he thinks it's just a matter of man willing to do good.

What Keeps Bono On His Knees? His thoughts concerning Grace ~vs~ Karma!

Bono did have a Christian upbringing. He is very worldly, but has expressed faith in Christ to some extent.

That's the ultimate in self-assurance, and the inevitable fruit of natural/total inability.

OSAS doctrine is based on the belief in man's natural inability. This guy does a great job of explaining where that idea comes from.

Jimmy Morrell is actually very bright. I don't entirely agree with his theology, but he has done excellent work on exposing how gnosticism infiltrated the church.

Why should I have to go looking for something I don't know what to look for? Why can't you support the statement you made by explaining what you meant? Is it because you don't really understand what you believe?

FWIW, Jimmy Morrell runs that ministry. Those type of street preachers are the kind of people that turned me off to Christianity before I was saved. They still do.

If homosexuality is a sin, then why didn't Jesus say anything about it?

The other likely possibility of what a "eunuch from the mother's womb" meant was impotent men. The Talmud calls them eunuchs-by-nature, and eunuchs of the sun. "There is a potential ambiguity in the use of the English phrase "by nature" in this context. "By nature" can mean two different...

If homosexuality is a sin, then why didn't Jesus say anything about it?

You can't produce any rabbinic opinions that state what you're claiming. The gay orientation thing is probably standard among gay and progressive scholars trying to push that agenda, but not any with good sense or spiritual integrity.

That's great. Now we need 101 verse why all of that is conditioned upon the obedience of faith. Actually, though, it only takes one. Well because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be highminded, but fear. For if GOD did not spare the natural branches, neither will...

The one thing that all of the various gnostic expressions had in common was the belief that adherents were saved by the knowledge that they were divine spiritual beings. It originated as a heretical Christian sect, whose adherents looked down their noses at normal Christians who didn't have that...

This idea is indistinguishable from the gnostic idea that once they realized what they were, ie., divine spiritual beings, nothing could jeopardize their salvation except taking their minds off of that knowledge.

    OSAS= House Built on Sand

This is what's known as Sandemanian anti-nomianism. Various modern grace doctrines follow it (e.g., Free grace, hyper-grace). It's really nothing more that neo-gnostisim, i.e., faith in the knowledge of being saved (born again spiritual being). Compare to the gnostic belief that salvation was by...
