    Loss of salvation???

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Our believing is an act of our will but it is not faith. Faith is the work of the word in a believing soul. There can be no faith apart from the word of God. So in this sense God is responsible for our faith. It is...

    There will be no Rapture!!!

I liked what you said up to this point. The woman represents Israel. Do you see the Church as the offspring of Israel? Also, Satan doesn't want to destroy people, he wants to destroy peoples faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He wants people alive otherwise what point being a narcissistic...

    Philippians: Paul's "Stairway to Heaven"?

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. It simply is not possible to have faith without the word of God. One doesn't necessarily have to read the scriptures but they must hear them, beginning with the Gospel, to know the depths, heights and breadth of God's...

    There will be no Rapture!!!

You are referring to the following, yes? Thess.4:14 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. It makes sense to me Christ should bring the souls of those who have been waiting for the Resurrection with Him as their bodies...

    Loss of salvation???

I gave you the scriptures showing God's grace and power go together. To lose grace is to lose power. Our "power source" is the filling of the Holy Spirit. When we sin we lose His influence over our lives and start walking according to the flesh. We need to confess our sin so we come under the...

Do stillborns and deceased babies go to 'hell'

But aren't you assuming they don't go to hell? Firstly, the penalty for sin is death, not the lake of fire and secondly the reason one goes to hell (l.o.f) is for the lack of/wrong type of works. So what works does a new born or still born have that can be judged? The truth is you don't know...

Do stillborns and deceased babies go to 'hell'

I'm saying if you are not born again you are not saved. If one is talking about being saved they are saying they are born again. Whether they realise that or not, I can't say but salvation is the new birth, passing from spiritual death to spiritual life.

Do stillborns and deceased babies go to 'hell'

If God has saved them they are born again. Being born again is our salvation.

    Loss of salvation???

So all the saints who Paul had to reprimand for their sin (ie. Corinth, Galatia etc) had lost their salvation? What you have said has nothing to do with what I said. If you are walking by the power of the Spirit (abiding in Christ), you can't sin because God's power upholds you. You must make...

    Loss of salvation???

How do you sin? Is God's power not strong enough to prevent you from sinning and yet we still sin even after we are saved. When you walk according to the flesh you have fallen from God's sphere of power.

    Loss of salvation???

To fall from grace is to fall from God's sphere of power. It does not mean that one dies spiritually again which, is what must happen for one to lose their salvation. We have been saved from death. Where there is no grace, there is no power. Acts 4:33 And with great power the apostles gave...

    There will be no Rapture!!!

Now I'm even more confused. :) I haven't followed this thread to a large extent so you may have stated your understanding but ... ? When do you see the Second Coming in relation to Armageddon? And when do you see the Resurrection of the Church (Rapture) in relation to the Second Coming?

    There will be no Rapture!!!

And you say that on what basis? I can't think of any scripture that implies we will meet in the air then return to earth. Jesus said he would take us to where He is and at the time He said that He was going to heaven. Why would He say He's coming to take us to where He is if we would meet in the...

    There will be no Rapture!!!

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. Philippians 3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, Christ went back to heaven to...

    Loss of salvation???

Yes the parable does but where is forgiveness now and where are the saved? You simply cannot ignore the reality God saves and keeps one saved until the end as per the verse from Phillipians. Jesus is not a parable but the living reality of those who are saved.

    Loss of salvation???

And the parable is about forgiveness, not salvation. If you are saved, you are in Christ where all forgiveness is to be found and cannot be revoked or lost. One's failure to utilize their position whether through ignorance or willful stupidity does not mean God has removed salvation from them so...

    Loss of salvation???

Has nothing to do with personal claims. Either God saves you and keeps you saved or He doesn't. No-one is more powerful than God and He finishes what He begins. Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus...

The great ages reached by biblical characters

Huh? Are either of them created? He did not "bring them into existence", they are God and have always existed just as the Father has always existed. You were talking about man being created eternal so please don't change the subject with God's nature. It seems to me you have assumed mortality...
