    The Trinity.

Thank you very much, I have noted all the points you make, very valid, but not clear cut - as assumptions are made and others would have a different interpretation. Maybe I’m being unrealistic and asking for a non-questionable 100% evidence which is not available. Very help information much...

    The Trinity.

Yes, thank you for the points raised very helpful & I agree the Luke argument is very week. how would you respond to Somone who says the following; Notwithstanding your points raised - John 1:1 would arguably translate as "and Jesus was with God and Jesus was God." would that translation not be...

    The Trinity.

Hi you make many assumptions about me. I believe in Jesus but as to which form (Trinitarian, Unitarian, JW etc....) I have a lot of unanswered questions due to conflicting passages. I am coming at this in a ‘pragmatic’ way to get information, clarification, examination, hermeneutics of the text...

    The Trinity.

If John 1 was clear - why would he have doubt - Luke 7:18-23 18 The disciples of John reported to him about all these things. 19 Summoning two of his disciples, John sent them to the Lord, saying, “Are You the Expected One, or do we look for someone else?” You would think John 1 would be...

    The Trinity.

John 1:1 doesn’t mention the name Jesus - why would John not mention Jesus by name? Also, if the ‘word’ was Jesus, then the sentence would be: "and Jesus was with God and Jesus was God" – this defies logic

Psalms 22:16 - 2 different translations - which is correct?

Hi thanks - but the word is kāarî - ari meaning 'lion' - ari appears two other times in Psalm 22. Verse 13 reads: They open wide their mouth at me, As a ravening and a roaring 'lion'. Verse 21 reads: Save me from the 'lion’s' mouth; From the horns of the wild oxen You answer me.

Psalms 22:16 - 2 different translations - which is correct?

Yes thats fine 'dogs' 'evil people' 'enemies' prophecy relates to Jesus etc... im not disputing that - Im trying to clarify the correct translation - I often have debates with Jews, Muslims, atheists, when a Jewish person says its been translated incorrectly it kind of puts the breaks on you...

Why do you say this one - is this the correct translation of the hebrew work kaari? Would that imply that this has been incorrectly translated in the bible?

Psalms 22:16 - 2 different translations - which is correct?

Hi - Dead Sea Scrolls at Qumran - psalms 22:16 is unfortunately missing - 'Nahal Hever Cave' I have argued - but that also appears to have many issues as some of the letters are not readable and considered a second century document.

Psalms 22:16 - 2 different translations - which is correct?

Yes I appreciate that - but the Hebrew appears to have a different translation - even the below has 'lion' Brown-Driver-Briggs' - strong #738 & biblehub Strong's Concordance have 'ari' as 'lion' Numbers 24:9 ‘He bows down, he lies down as a lion; And as a lion, who shall rouse him?’ “Blessed...

Psalms 22:16 - 2 different translations - which is correct?

    yes noted / agreed - see my above post for clarification - also Zechariah‬ ‭12:10‬ ‭KJV‬ causes another problem - I have looked it up on biblehub - 'they pierced' uses a different word. דָּקָ֑רוּ dā-qā-rū;

Psalms 22:16 - 2 different translations - which is correct?

I should have been clearer in my Q. Psalms 22:16 regardless of the version its very similar - For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. However, the Masoretic Hebrew Texts that has been pointed out to me by a Jew is; Psalm...
