    Another look at John 10.

Okay, we can intentionally throw away our salvation before the end.

Both, as we cooperate with God/His Spirit/Word.

    Understanding God’s election

Yes, God can desire/call to save all but not all be saved because God desires that all be free or able to resist His desire or calling to be saved. No one will be in heaven against their will. No, God cannot be loving to all and not exercise love to all, if He condemns all to hell with no...

    the Sabbath

Probably, although CL 2:16-17 seems clear enough to me: "Do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These [the Mosaic sacrificial system called the first covenant in Hebrews] are a shadow of the things...

I was wondering who believes you can get unsaved.

God loves everyone all of the time, but we can please God by living in accordance with those verses. For example: RM 11:22, Consider the kindness of God. 1CR 15:2, Hold firmly to the gospel/word Paul preaches to us in his epistles. GL 5:4, Do not revert to trying to be justified by law. CL...

    Gift of Tongues

I was responding to your saying "Not interested in hearing your bible flex and your passages", when it is God's Word/Holy Spirit that teaches, and I try to be a lead learner.

What is the longest fast you have done?

I fasted for three days once but went about normal activities because my prayer for God's will to be done plus a few thank yous didn't take long. The main effect was that I had greater consciousness of God since my stomach was continually reminding me of Him!

When the spiritual high wears off

Because I was raised by Christian parents, I have never known a time when I wasn't a Christian, and I only associated with other loving Christians--children of my parents' friends, the church youth group--the Baptist Student Union, Christian friends in the military, and fellow-Christians adults...

After Trump, who’s the next guy or gal?

Politics involves compromise. For example, our current economic policies are a compromise between capitalism and socialism. However, it is getting more and more difficult for most of us to find common ground with those who want open borders, transgendering, high inflation and otherwise the...

And if the Marxists become king, we may wish to join Jesus in his heavenly kingdom ASAP.

I was wondering who believes you can get unsaved.

There are a lot more verses to reconcile with your understanding, including those below that I have cited before. RM 11:22, “Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also...

    Understanding God’s election

No, my argument is what Paul says in 1TM 2:3-4. God is not required to love anyone, but He chooses to love everyone and He condemns no one without providing the opportunity to be saved, or else He would not be neither loving nor just.

    Another look at John 10.

Yes, we do not accidentally misplace our salvation, but we may intentionally not endure to the end.

The Kerygma - God's Requirement for Salvation

Also CL 2:12, "Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God..."--oh I see that presidente beat me to this.

    Understanding the Incarnation

I agree that viewing the pre-incarnate Jesus as the Word works better than any other concept I can envision. Word/Truth is easily viewed as the mind of Christ, which is associated with the young Jesus in the temple but I can't conceive of Him as a Spirit-filled baby.

    Understanding God’s election

The issue is not whether people are unsaved, but rather whether they had the opportunity to be saved and thus are justly condemned to hell if they rejected or ignored it.

    Understanding God’s election

Yes, and I might point out that Calvinism is derived from Augustine of Hippo about 400 A.D., whose doctrine of predestination failed to acknowledge God's love for everyone, including His enemies.

If sinners are not free to repent, then Jesus wasted his breath and God is hateful.

    Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit

Peter's denial of following Jesus is described as pretense because he feared sharing Jesus' fate at the hands of the cancel culture.
