Notice that the searing of the conscience happens to those who departed from faith not those who were never part of the church at all. We often hear sermons apply the searing of the conscience to the atheists and unbelievers but that is not what Paul was talking about was it?
Amen Brother. There are many scriptures warning believers of those who have corrupted the truth from within the church

Paul's words to the elders of the church at Ephesus " For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them." his words to Timothy "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron. We see faith was made shipwreck soon after the apostles left this world.
Again , and there is no way round it . SEALED !!!! ......UNTO ......THE ......DAY ......OF .......REDEMPTION. Theres too many clear verses that state eternal security for the believer. like the one above . You don't have any assurance if you make every clear verse on security into " unless " or " if " . The bible is not fighting with itself. I know many believers who can clearly see many verses on eternal security, only to completely undo them because of a few verses taken out of context. Which in doing so is not just a matter of " oh you believe you can't lose salvation but i do " . No the whole understanding of how we are saved and what Jesus said and did is different. Its another Gospel that leads many false converts into the church only to ' fall away ' later , because they are disillusioned..Many a pew sitter is under the impression he's a Christian because he's going to church, praying, fasting , stop sinning ( as if ) and or that he got baptised. So long as his works keep up he.ll be ok so long as he keeps 'repenting '. Yet he really never trusted that Jesus had died for his sins .

Paul is not referring to ' grievous wolves ' as believers . They are non believers coming into the church. Its no different today . Galations warns of those who add something to grace . A work of the law/ Flesh .

No need to wait. I've given you sufficient spiritual truth in that regard
And I don't mean " well what about hebrews 6 " what about John 15 , what about ...." and any other proof text . They don't explain the components of salvation .

No, forgiveness is given as a free gift to Gods elect along with repentance. Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

We repent because we have been forgiven by free grace and the blood of Christ. Eph 1:7

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

What about shame and remorse and self loathing?

I gave you ' SEALED UNTO THE DAY OF REDEMPTION ' there is no way round just this one verse.
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
what if you dont put off the former conversation? are you sealed?
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
what if you arent renewed in the spirit of your mind? are you sealed?
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
what if you dont put on the new man? are you sealed?
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
what if you dont put away lying? are you sealed?
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
what if you are angry and do sin? are you sealed?
27 Neither give place to the devil.
what if you give place to the devil? are you sealed?
28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
what if you continue to steal? are you sealed?
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
what if you let corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth? are you sealed?
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
what if you grieve the holy Spirit of God? are you sealed?
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
what if you hold on to all bitterness, wrath and anger, etc.? are you still sealed?
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
what if you are not kind or tenderhearted, forgiving one another? are you sealed?

You should by now understand that you cant continue to disobey God and claim that you are sealed by the Holy Spirit.
those words are all in the same context as the scripture you provided

Ah yes, wolves in sheep's clothing. Sensual, having not the Spirit, but having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. Its possible and highly probable that today they are not only ruling over the flock but the flock is nothing more than a pack of wolves all feasting on their own deception.

I attend an Assemblies of God church. I found most of their doctrinal statements to be what I had already discovered but also I love the people. They have such a zeal for holiness, full surrender, eternal focus, soul winning, no compromise, 100% sold out to Jesus, and that is usually 80% of the congregations.

There is also that serious approach to prayer and hearing from the Holy Spirit.
I was called to fulltime ministry and I am in my third year of internship training and bible college. As we seek God together and pray, I have a large network of men of God who will meet together, get on their face and pray for hours or days until they hear from the Holy Spirit on a matter.

This kind of intensity straight out of the book of Acts is not common in every denomination. There is an emphasis on praying, fasting, ministering to the Lord and hearing from the Holy Spirit and then laying hands on someone and sending them out, like they did with Paul and Barnabas. I needed this in my life. I believe this is God's method.

I was saved in prison and by reading the bible with no church background or influence I naturally was a continuationist before I knew that there was a controversy.

My story of researching all denominations and their history and teachings started in the 80s when I was trying to determine which church to attend after being released. It is a long story.
Very interesting thank you for your response. Yes I have noticed all people end up continuationist unless taught differently beforehand.

Are you married or are you like Paul, a single guy in full time ministry? Glad to see it is accepted, in my country often times people look down on single people.

You are blessed to have such wonderful people around you, what are you training for in bible college?

SEALED UNTO THE DAY OF REDEMPTION. Eph 4.30

AGAIN ... Eph 1
13¶In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were SEALED with that holy Spirit of promise,

14Which is the earnest ( GURANTEE !!) of our inheritance UNTIL the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

You don't get to change these clear verses and a hundred others because you believe all warnings mean hell for believers if they don't earn their keep and maintain their regeneration/ new birth and separate themselves from the body of christ / un justify themselves and cause God not to keep his promise .

A person without the Holy spirit is not a Christian. Paul is warning of people coming within the church, unsaved but look the part .

Wrong. He told the church elders of the Ephesians that even some of them would speak perverse things to draw disciples after them

Uh O!

‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4:1‬ ‭
But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.

Romans‬ ‭11:22‬ ‭
Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.
