The End of a Nation

Amos and Hosea have some rather interesting prophecies concerning a country "named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!"

SAMARIA

Amos 4:1“Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.”

Amos 4:11-13 “I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD. Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel. For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.”

Amos 6:1 “Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!”

Amos 6:8-11 “The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein. And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die.

And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD. For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts.”

Amos 6:10 “And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.”

Amos 5:13 “Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.”

Take a look in Hosea chapter four and see if that does not look like us.

No, it is the socialist children who cannot take care of themselves AND accept the false belief that the fruits of their labour should go to the state AND envy anyone that has more than them so that everything must be redistributed AND is trapped in an infantile notion of fairness.

In this system everyone is greedy because they take the fruits of another persons labour.

Yes I would agree, changing the direction of a nation once a group mindset is accepted seems nearly impossible because of herd mentality and group mind think. The left and people in general can no longer be objective, bias, rational, fact based, let alone recognize truth.

I agree there is hope for individuals, some people do "wake up" to the lies thankfully.

Someone once told me the movie "Titanic" was a metaphor for the demise of the United States, sadly now I think it is true and I do believe dark forces have been at work all along to bring about its destruction.

God is clear and men will not get better and a great apostasy will take place and like have said before, one of the following is true....

A. The U.S. is gathered in the ALL grouping of nations gathered against Israel to be judged and destroyed by God
B. The U.S. has already fallen and been destroyed and is no longer a viable nation on this planet

BOTH = a nation that did not repent and get right.............Personally, I believe we have already reached the point of no return.......

If you read Romans and other biblical principles, which I know you do God is clear.....when by law, we (the nation) embraces homosexuality/sexual immorality, the murder of babies in the womb, while ostracizing the bible, the truth and a right to make a Christian stance without being labeled a bigot, bible thumper or religious zealot....we can rightfully conclude that judgment is near.....as a matter of fact God clearly states that embracing men with men and women with women is the proverbial straw that breaks the camel's back and it sets forth a reprobate mindset and to expect nothing but judgment........

As you know, in the bible we find many examples of being a "day late and a dollar short" and even though on a few occasions the people repented, the judgment had already been decreed and was meeted out....

One of the MOST tragic statements found in the word IMV concerning a NATION is....

SHE knew God in truth, but departed. We would have healed her, but she would NOT be healed. <---Directed at the HINDERMOST of the nations, the LADY of the KINGDOMS known for her national symbols of a LADY, EAGLE and WOMAN.......!

Look up the word HINDERMOST <----OF THE NATIONS!

Unfortunately I must disagree. His condemnation has already been pronounced. The Bible states God knew the end from the beginning. Thus when God performed creation he already knew what would be happening today. Thus he set the solar system to have eclipses that has in the past and currently condemn countries. The US had an eclipse cross across it and in 2024 will have an eclipse cross from the northeast to southwest crossing 7 cities named Salem. Thus creating an X on the US.

With all the chaos, wars, and other injustices, does anyone here believe the Lord is ruling on earth today? All the worlds governments today are those of Satan. He is the ruler of this world.
Things have to get worse before they get better as scriptures indicate.
When things get much worse than they are today, Satan and his angels are cast to the earth, where he will be afforded one last go at making things work here on earth.
He will make his last stand by giving his seat, power and authority to the beast who shall rise from the sea.

The list in Ephesians of what we struggle against has an interesting title, among the 4 listed we have the KosmoKratos which translates ....WORLD RULER......<----I.E. the prince of the power of the air....Satan.......!!

You know......men were always destined to live under a Theocracy.....I.E> God ruling among men......and the truth is...the best form of human government given under the sun is failing.......some things to ponder....

Satan showed Jesus ALL the kingdoms of the earth and offered them if he would but fall down and worship Satan....he said they are mine and I give them to whom I will.....and he is called the god of this age (world) and the Prince of the Power of the Air......ALL forms of human government do not come from God.....and we can see this because of their failings.....

Greece gave us Democracy <---the rule of the people----->FAILED
Rome gave us the Republic form and also later on embraced Democracy ------>Failed
Egypt gave us Pharaohs ---> Failed
Babylon gave us Kings --->Failed
Persian kings failed
Assyrian Kings failed
etc........

The U.S. was a blended Republic/Democratic configuration with total freedom......and we can all see (if honest) the writing on the wall based upon the Historicity of EVERY ATTEMPT before us................
