I am sure they're attorneys had them put that in, what with the number of people who pick up a firearm with their finger in the trigger.
Revolvers are my favorite, it takes an intended action to rotate the cylinder, cock the hammer and fire a revolver, not merely release a striker.
Yes, they have to cover every possibility of clumsy people pulling the trigger by accident.

Having that said, Dan, you are a civilian and can theoretically store your guns as you please.

Nevertheless, it would be helpful to make a routine on how to store and handle your guns. Not necessarily putting them down on paper, but practice on a drill on operating the firearms, so that you can handle them safely even when there’s no light where y’at.

You should also consider some training for the use of the firearms. Not only target practice, but also how to not allow a bad guy to take control of your gun. Too many gun owners are shot by their own weapon.

Owning and handling guns carries a lot of responsibility, and pistols are more complicated than revolvers. I don’t know if there’s any statistics on the matter, but I’d guess that pistols are more prone to accidents than revolvers.

I'm a revolver guy too. I just prefer them. I don't plan on going to war so I'm sure 6 rounds will do the trick I'm a self defense situation. I usually hunt with mine so with a revolver you can have longer barrel length and get better accuracy at hunting distances. Even with that 50 yards is still a very long shot with a pistol.

We should be able to accomplish the goal at 50 yards, Jeff Cooper spoke of that, "50 yards and under is a pistol shot. over 50 yards is a rifle shot."

It's doable, you have to be well practiced.

50 yards with a pistol is hard. If a skeeter has a touch down on the barrel you’ll miss your mark with a whole buncha inches😁.

I'm working on it. And yes it's a difficult shot. But I started at close range and am working my way out. Now mind you that my 45, has a 10-in barrel and my 44 has an 8 inch. My 54 is also an 8-in, it's a muzzleloader.

a wad, as well as the usual patch and ball, is said by many to really improve accuracy.
Hope that is a blessing, Durofelt (for making patches) is the place I get my felt from, neat little lady runs it.

What caliber muzzleloader are you shooting? How much powder? You know the drill.
I shoot 54 cal round balls, with a pillow ticking patch over 40 grain by volumn of fff triple7.

This is a video on the type of Bullseye shooting I am familiar with, I am told by many that this is the foundation, the fundamentals.

Mini-Balls, 58. cal pretty much right now going through a civil war phase, 22 primarily and some cap and ball pistol had experience and very much enjoy sharing about all aspects of the shooting sports as it is a wonderful way to minister, and we have found young boys ears open up when they want something.
best wishes

Ha! This is the first "winner" symbol I have given for a firearm! The EZ series sure do look like great pistols, had I not found a great 5904 just before they came out I believe i would have gotten that very one, even looked at the 380 as it is slightly more concealable. Congratulations! You really have great taste and you are a great husband!(y)

Brownells had a load of 9mm Tula steel case come in, selling the at $12.94 a box of 50, limit of 4 boxes per customer, per day. I thought that was nice of them to not take unfair advantage of the contrived "shortage".

I recall the first time I looked at one the "ears" on the slide were a great help to me, let alone how they are doing the slide springs lighter. Thankful you haven't had to jump through owning a bunch of different ones before finding one you can stay with, keep us updated please. Now, for a 22 conversion.......

Has anyone read Joe Biden's gun control proposal? Someone on Facebook posted his plan and commented that it is absolutely insane! Under his proposed plan, current gun owners would have to register all firearms that fit "his description" of "assault weapon" (which would include the majority of all semi-automatic pistols and rifles) and pay a $200 fee per firearm, plus and additional tax on each detachable magazine with a 10 or more round capacity. You also could face a 10 year prison sentence and a $10,000 fine if you are caught not in compliance. o_O

The satans minions/left/communists have always wanted everyone around the world disarmed, America has stood in the way. I am so thankful God raised up President Trump, a Cyrus, for such a time as this. these last of the last days.
I fully expect him to be reelected as he is a part of the plan for these days, we have dodged a big one, the left always intended to cram joe in and have him resign/expire and have Mayor Brown's mistress assume the office.
