Would 'and I'm really quite charming' be a valid fourth line in the riddle? :D
I find them to be charming, but I suppose that's a matter of opinion 🤔 I'm sure some people would just label them alarming, and that would be the end of it.

I bet Seoulsearch will know this one. It's definitely a type of creature that I want to hug and love and name George.

stingray ?
Yes, you got it! I would also have accepted Devil Ray and a couple of other alarming names for members of that family. The "no bones" clue refers to their cartilage skeletons. I think they look so much like kites.

Don't forget the 'often' part... :sneaky:

not just disarming - but, often disarming

hahaha

she will say because it looks like a kite - which brings back fun times and pleasant memories from her childhood

Admittedly that line fits the devil ray better than the sting ray (devil rays are plankton-eating and non-venomous), but sting rays are almost never aggressive. They're popular animals to dive with.

...I know, there was that one famous time 😭

And over 2,000 years old.
I might not be a household name in America.
But in the East I am.
I have impressive architecture;
To be feeding so many for so long.
I might also be the local pride,
Of many folks of CCS.

When I go diving, I always invite my rays to come with me.

😛 I've pet them a few times, but those might have had their stingers removed, I don't know.

I also saw some dead in a fish market (blue spot stingrays) and it was absolutely fascinating to be able to examine them up close like that. Their colors and patterns were so neat!

Wow, that's tricky. I did use Google so maybe that's cheating. Is it the granary at Moenjodaro?
A delicacy no doubt for some folks.

Where was this market located?
Bohol
