Grace is not a license to sin or break God’s law. 1John3:4 James2:11

Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

The law can’t save us, its kept, because its a consequence of salvation, not a means to it.

Rev 14:12 Here is the [a]patience of the saints; here[b] are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

Those who don’t keep it, according to Scripture is sin, rebellion, disobedience and unbelief which Scripture uses interchangeably Heb3:7-19

I can’t take someone serious who takes the place of God to condemn someone to judgement. That’s for God and God alone. I have never been on a website that operates on constant insults is the norm, yet alone a professed Christian website who claims love to their neighbor is supposed to be standard Christian living. Guess all will get sorted out soon enough.
The commandments of God are not the ten commandments. It is everything that God requires of us as individually. We are not enslaved to a stone. You still don't get the place of the law. It suits you to enslave yourself again. That's your choice. It is also your choice to berate those who disagree with your legalism. Peter and Paul had some hard words to say to legalists.

It is not love to ignore the false doctrines that people like yourself try to impose on others. Some less informed believers may be persuaded by your specious reasoning. If you don't want people to disagree with you, quit trying to convince them that they are wrong and you are right. You are not. God's word confirms that.

one more comment,, living God's Way is difficult, living the way of the 40,000 not so much, they conform to the world in many many ways even in what they eat which is anything.
According to God's word, He permits eating foods once considered unclean. God's way is not difficult. It is impossible. Jesus is God's way. He is the life of the believer. Since you are not born again, you have to try to please God by your own works. God says that self righteousness is filthy rags. That's all that you have to offer God. He does not accept rags. Those who are born again are the righteousness of God in Christ.

If I were you, I'd quit trying to be a good Christian and accept Christ as Saviour and Lord. You condemn the 40,000 yet you have nothing yourself. There is nothing sadder than a self deceived pseudo Christian. You go through your life believing you are the only true believer and condemning those who are real believers. You are at great risk of hearing the most terrible words, "Depart from me, I never knew you". If I did not care, I'd say nothing, not risk getting in strife, and leave you to your delusion. I can't do that. It would mean that your blood (so to speak) is on my head.

Finding our 'sabbatismos' rest in Christ does not mean that Jesus became the sabbath day and is the sabbath day. Hebrews 4:9-10 presents Jesus as the fulfillment of the sabbath rest. So, there remains a sabbath rest for the people of God. For whoever enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. This signifies that through Christ, believers can experience a spiritual rest that transcends the physical rest through the observance of a day. While the Old Testament laws served as a foreshadowing of Christ's ultimate reality, the substance and fulfillment of spiritual life is found in Christ.
Physical rest and spiritual rest.
2 different things.

Which rest Is being referred to in verse 10...
"Also rests from" spiritual or physical? Sabbath 24 hour rest or rest in the gosple of Jesus.

The Sabbath is a physical rest of 24 hours once a week.
Jesus is a spiritual rest forever, constantly, The gosple rest.

Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
"For he that is entered into his rest"
this must be the gosple rest found in Jesus.. it does not use the sabbath word and the context shows the rest is in trusting God. Spiritual rest.

" he also hath ceased from his own works"
Also = plus, as well as, add to, ALSO hath rest or my version said ceased from his own works." This is not the gosple rest or Spiritual rest found in the gosple. It is physical rest. Rest from labour. Rest from own works. Physical rest.
To work out what physical rest it is the next few words explain.

" as God did from his".
Context shows it is talking about the rest God had in creation.
The sabbath rest. God did not need spiritual rest..

We need to enter into He's rest (Spiritual), but we ALSO need to keep the sabbath as God did..

If God is the example of the rest we also need to keep it must be the sabbath day.

Because Jesus is the rest from sin
Because Jesus is Spiritual rest, that does not make the physical rest a type..

There is no Bible truth to back this up.

Just because rest is found in Jesus. It does not make the moral law void. It does not take away the holiness of the sabbath.

It isn't about being enslaved to stone
It is about having all ten of the laws written on the heart.
It is about.."If ye love God, keep His commandments."
There are many other laws that God has given us and we need to obey all of God's commands. Because we love Him

The problem is people are saying that the 10 commandments are void or nailed to the cross. I'm trying to show people that God wants to write all 10 of them on our hearts.. the sabbath is the only one most people reject or change. So it is not legalism it is about understanding why we keep all 10 of them today.

Because of love I don't steal or lie to my family and because of love all 10 are to be kept today.

2Co 3:3 KJV Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Physical rest and spiritual rest.
2 different things.

And yet for those in Christ these are very closely related.,

The Sabbath is a physical rest of 24 hours once a week.

Which in the New Covenant can be done on Tuesday or Thursday or any other day.

The New Covenant does not say what day we are to rest on

Jesus is a spiritual rest forever, constantly, The gosple rest.

And that's the actual Sabbath under the New Covenant as it has been upgraded from what was done under the old covenant.

but we ALSO need to keep the sabbath as God did..

Show where Jesus and His Apostles taught this in the New Covenant and where they taught it was a sin not to or where it is taught there are repercussions for those that don't observe Saturday sabbath

Just because rest is found in Jesus. It does not make the moral law void.

Again, please show in the New Covenant where we are taught not observing Saturday sabbath is being immoral and is sinful.

If you are going to claim people will go to hell for not observing Saturday sabbath you gonna have to up your game and unleash the kraken and show us where this is taught in the New Testament.

It isn't about being enslaved to stone

I like to rock, but I'm not enslaved to stone

You reject the rest of God's word that contradicts your false doctrine. Peter had this out with the leaders of the church in Jerusalem. I suppose you disagree with him. By all means keep the law yourself. No doubt you are racking up brownie points with God. He will be so impressed, I'm sure. For me, I won't be boasting about what I've done in this life. I will be confessing what Jesus has done for me through His death and resurrection.

Read Acts 15. Feel free to live in the shadow of the law. I live in the reality of Christ as my Lord and my life. He has never required me to meet on a Saturday.

It's pointless discussing this with you. God's word clearly contradicts you.

You know what is strange? you are condemning me for being law abiding, obeying Christ and Jesus Christ tell those He says He never knew they are lawless, workers of iniquity.

something is not quite right here. maybe you can explain how this all works?

By your own admission, you are not born again. Therefore, you are not obeying Christ. Nicodemus was one of Israel's elites, but Lord Jesus told him that he must be born again. Your foundation is false. All your efforts are of self. They must be, because you are spiritually dead. I'm not condemning you. Your own words condemn you. The word of God calls your works dead. I wish I could say otherwise.

So, what about the Gentiles?

Romans 11:25 - For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

Galatians 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 3:6 - that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel.
Exactly
We are all one in Christ.. the Gentiles come in to the spiritual body, spiritual Israel.

So all the past promises to Israel now applies to spiritual Israel.

You say the law does not apply to gentiles. We are not Gentiles but are grafted into the body of Christ.. spiritual Israel.
But anyone that believes in Jesus by faith is one, and is a seed of Abraham, and therefore the new covenant is promised to the house of Israel.

I never said that the sabbath day is not holy or that I wish to defile it, walk all over it or treat it with no respect. That is a straw man argument. You need to be careful with judging. (Colossians 2:16-17) You are not an ancient Israelite who is under the law of Moses (Exodus 31:12-17; 35:1-3; Deuteronomy 5:1-15) but if you wish to remain on the old covenant plantation of law, then be my guest, but count me out. I will stick with the ministry of righteousness under the new covenant that exceeds much more in glory than the ministry of condemnation under the old covenant. (2 Corinthians 3:6-9)
By saying the sabbath day does not need to be obeyed, by not keeping the day holy. You are saying that it is not Holy and are defiling it..

This is not judgement. It is fact. Truth.

To keep the sabbath Holy we are given instruction about how.

To rest from labour from sun down Friday night until sundown Saturday night.

Exo 20:8-11
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

To keep it holy = to obey the command.

To not obey the commandments is to not keep it holy.

Do you keep this commandment and keep the sabbath Holy?

Which is more holy? The weekly sabbath, or the lord who made the sabbath and sanctified it? The lord, of course, and we are his body. So you fail to realize that we are more holy than the sabbath because we are of his flesh and bones

For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. Ephesians 5:30

I am not an Israelite under the law of Moses. (Exodus 31:12-17; 35:1-3; Deuteronomy 5:1-15) Stop acting as my judge.

Colossians 2:16 - Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day— 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.

Your "therefore" does not logically follow your preamble.
The whole world is invited into the body of Christ.

Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

We are all one, no distinction.
Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

All part of the same family.. adopted in.

Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

We are all Israelites by Adoption.
Spiritual lsraelites.
The old covenant was given to Israel and the new covenant is given to Israel..
The new covenant contains the same 10 commandments written on the heart.

You are a Gentile IF you are not part of the family of Christ. And that means the new covenant does not apply to you either.. We are all one in Christ. One faith, One law..

This is how the Law is to be considered. We don't despise the crib once the child is grown. That would be foolish. The crib served its purpose: bringing the child to maturity. Similarity, we don't despise the Law once we are free from it. It served its purpose: it kept the people alive through whom the Son would come
Read the 10 commandments and ask yourself, have they really served their purpose?

If the principles are the same today they have not changed.

Rom 13:9-10
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

God's principles of love do not change.
