The Donald promised no more quagmires and occupations in foreign countries. Now, big surprise, he's saying the US may have a presence for years in Venezuela. The "peace president" strikes again.
Same goes for Greenland. I don’t think he nor his highly qualified Secretary of War understands what a quagmire really is before they try their luck up there. In comparison, Venezuela is a walk in the park. Well, at least there will not be many soldiers coming home in coffins because they will never be located in the snow, steep valleys and the mountains. But I’m sure the Secretary of War has made a bulletproof risk analysis for the future campaign.
