Grace is God's means to make the undeserving deserving.

What a load of horse manure! Christ alone is the only means of God's deserving grace. Grace is based entirely on what Christ earned for God's chosen people! No sinner in this universe deserves God's grace at any time!

. So you keep on telling me, but I'm not ignorant like you, so I know what repentance actually entails to be forgiven it means to change, where as you make a Mockery out of the repentance, because your just like the other people here who won't change and falsely miss represent people all the time,

I'm not the one crying or screaming everyday, it you and your crewe who couldn't care less about what his word actually teaches, who start crying blue murder when we quote scripture.

It's almost like his word his murdering you when you and your crewe are told.yhe correct proper understandings.
Repentance~~A change of mind.

A change of mind about the Lord Jesus Christ........The way, the truth and the life.

One can Change their mind about their sin and way of life till they are blue in the face.

UNTIL one changes their mind/repents of who and what the Lord Jesus Christ is, they are hopeless.

Of what, exactly, do you think I'm ignorant? Step up like a man and defend your slander.
your backbone speech may wash with your ignorant newfound friends you've found but not me, there just typical people who jump on the band wagon to think of themselves more highly, just like you now sadly.

change of mind is only the first step, but no doubt for you it's the only step.

Metanoia the greek word for repentance is based on different understanding, and the best one I've found is a mighty change of mind and heart, leading to spiritual renewal, which only comes from God,

But you don't know that step in my book, as if you did you would of quitted your drama long ago.

That was not how it sounded. It sounded like like our only worth is Christ in us as if His life never becomes ours. And exploiting grace doesn't mean manipulating, it means using to best advantage what you have been given.

If, by the grace of God, we never develop any worth within ourselves then how could Paul say imitate me? 1Cor.4:16

The only worth any believer has in his/her identity and union with their Federal Head. Christ is ALL (Col 3:11)! This is why the saints will humbly cast their crowns before His feet (Rev 4:10-11).

You guys consistently and constantly leave the Lord Jesus Christ out of your "equation" and "gospel."

His very name is salvation.......

What Job received from God made him worthy of praise from God!

Why?
Evidently....

Job had to choose to accept and receive what God led him into.
Free will choices caused Job to merit favor from God!

Has your dogma blinded you to the obvious?
Can you admit you have been wrong?

"Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but whoever hates correction is stupid.
Proverbs 12:1

So, Job didn't persevere in the faith by God's grace? Job gets all the credit for persevering by the power of his mighty will?

And you're still out of your mind! What parts of Jn 17:2, 24 can't you understand?
The very next Verse tells us WHO (those given to Jesus) are.

25 Righteous Father, the world did not know You, but I knew You; and these knew that You sent Me

Clearly talking about the Disciples.

No your imagination of what people are actually saying here does, all along the people you have constantly referred to as no good Calvies have consistently said it's the lord which changes you, where as you and your crew have constantly ignored that and change everything they've said, because you all put your free will first.. and the biggest joke is mans will lives in the flesh.

Which means your love for God is in your belly

interesting @Dino246 you flip past his post falsely implying we don't represent the lord and then put your thumbs down to my defense.

Yep your ignorance shines through again, give yourself a pat on the back mate

I don't like your response, period. You seem incapable of making a response without throwing in a negative personal comment. Your continual insults definitely do not represent the Lord.

Yes, the 11 knew that Jesus was the Sent One. But that doesn't change the fact that He prayed for THEM and for all THOSE who would believe on him through their preaching. He just didn't pray for the 11 (v. 20). God didn't give just the 11 to Him. This is why all the ones given to Christ by the Father are bookended by vv. 2 and 24. Verse 24 doesn't say, I want "them", rather I want "THOSE you have given me"...-- and the the "those" are the ones who will come to faith in the future through the preaching of "them".

You lame, willfully blinded, wanna-be exegetes truly have a difficult time with pronouns, don't you?

oh behave yourself your being hypocritical again,

You've thrown more personal remarks at me than a gay person fighting for gay rights,

Where's your back bone now your so fond of, well its no where because you obviously don't have enough courage to put these ignoramus people in there place, and only those rightly calling there disrespect out,

What did Job possess that He did not receive? Jesus told His disciples that they could do nothing apart from Him. God's testimony of Job was a testimony of God's great grace exercised towards Job. Even Satan recognizes how much God has done for Job.

What part of "exploiting grace" did you not hear?

@Genez has made it known in umpteen posts that grace is God's working policy and that we receive nothing apart from grace.

You give the impression we have absolutely no part to play in our growth, that it all just happens automatically. Even physical growth requires something of us on our part, we have to eat what is presented.
