Agree. That is like asking me if I fear tattoos if I disliked a picture depicting Jesus on the Cross covered with tattoos.
Liars against truth are lame.
They lie to themselves.

You're right!
I guess I should have accused you of being an evolutionist when you used the monkey image?
I'm not presuming anything. Just asking why a such a fuss is being made over the use of an image used by another poster. . . . . .
Look @RufusThat's a half truth! Every saint was "of the world" in TIME -- but not in eternity. You're so stuck on the grand importance of wicked mankind, you cannot understand that in God's eyes in eternity, His chosen people were never "OF" this world, anymore than Christ himself ever was! In eternity all the elect who were given to Jesus were predestined to be effectually called out of this world in time and space.
I was watching the thread that was discussing Creation versus Evolution (in another forum) when @Genez coined that monkey image and unlike your presumptions, it was done in defiance of the evolutionists as an ironic twist on their logic, not in favour of them.![]()
Here you go @RufusLook @Rufus
The Greek term proorizō is derived from the from horizō
G3724 - horizō - Strong's Greek Lexicon (KJV)
Act 2:23
Him, being delivered by the determinate G3724 counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
.........from which we get our word "HORIZON".
Every instance this term is used, it has to do with the protocol plan of God in time pertaining to the FUTURE of those who choose to believe Him.

You are Beza flunky. Too bad so sad.

I removed the monkey.
It was not worth arguing over.
What have they done?
nice of you to say, Jordon ... He's working in all born again believers and eeks out every now and again if/when we get out of His way!!!I do believe I've seen him in your heart and mind many times already![]()
well ... if they are sitting in church pews and are not born again, either the gospel is not being preached in the pulpit, or they are suppressing the truth in unrighteousness when the gospel is preached in the pulpit. That's because those in the above passage were never given to the Son by the Father.
No I did not! Learn to read and keep up with what is being said! I used the monkey, as an example only, to say that since he gripes about pictures being used, that would be like me complaining about his, WHICH I HAVE NOT DONE. Genez's talking about Magenta's pic is very childish. It is clear that he has an agenda concerning Magenta. He must have used a 20X magnifying glass to even notice the tattoo. No sane person would even think of the things that he has mentioned concerning the pic. . . . . Just saying.Yes you did. You presumed an evolutionist because of a monkey pic and if not then why would you think to accuse him of such?
Monkeys are God's creation too you know unlike unicorns and tatoos.

IMO if she was wise enough to realize that these occultic icons are indeed offensive, she would immediately remove them.No I did not! Learn to read and keep up with what is being said! Good post! You said the heart WILL not seek God because it CANNOT. Will not and cannot are two different phenomenons. Using the phrase "WILL NOT" assumes we have a will that can either resist or yield to God's will but that (for reasons of our own) we voluntarily refuse to change our minds. On the other hand the idea that we CANNOT yield means we are UNABLE to change our mind due to some impairment, defect or disability. Your idea is that the person's will must be changed by a unilateral imposition of divine power - rather like the demons were known to take over a possessed person's speech and behavior. This is not how the Father operates. Instead, He prefers a willing surrender which is why He sent the Spirit to us
The Bible says "And when he (The Holy Spirit) comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment (John 16:8) The word translated "convict" is ἐλέγχω which means: to convict, refute, confute, generally with a suggestion of the shame of the person convicted. The Spirit applies the work of Christ to us by uncovering our personal guilt, validating Jesus’ perfect righteousness, and warning of coming judgment. This inner conviction is indispensable in salvation; without it, the gospel remains information rather than transformation. However, it is also possible for human beings to resist the Spirit influence and harden their hearts. Thus the Spirit's influence is not irresistible
You also said: ....how can those who have rejected God can have anything of His in them to give hope? His word is our hope, the unsaved have no word of God.
We have to do our part to get the word in them by preaching the gospel which has the power to save anyone. If they are momentarily without hope this, too can be used to motivate them to change.
They will not to....33,018 posts and we still cant agree whether we have free will or not. Does the disagreement come from the stubborn human will or God’s will battling satan’s will? Either way it might be time to agree to disagree.
