It is a wrong thought that distorted the reality out of existence.

For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and to lose his soul?​

That does not say lose his spirit.

Look here! Revelation 6:9-11.

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain ​

because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, ​

“How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been. ​

When you die, it is your soul that enters heaven with the consciousness of who you are!
Those souls cried out and knew who they are!

Our human spirit makes our souls able to connect with things which are spiritual.
But our human spirit is not doing our thinking, nor making us conscious of who we are. Our soul is!

But you could see it both ways that the soul is able to worship in spirit, and probably was before the fall,

However you reverse it to say something like human spirit is more like there own inspiration,. or there own hope or there own hope that drives them, because scripture makes the point that man became a living soul, you want there to clear proof that the soul is spirit to.

well I wish I could make sense of all of this but I'm struggling, the soul without the body, you must be thinking of the body of Christ, the soul being connected to the vine the church,.

That when the soul becomes connected to Jesus,
But could you still actually say the soul was spirit before hand,..since Jesus said you must be born of water and spirit before. You enter the kingdom, the soul therefore has to have something spiritual about it to even be born of spirit of the lord,.

Zechariah 12: 1

1 “The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and -- formeth -- The Spirit – “OF” - Man --“within him”.

I Corinthians 2: 11

11 “For what man knoweth the things of a man, save -- the Spirit of Man - which is--IN-- him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, -- but (by) the Spirit of God.

every living creature is given a "Spirit" which places in them what is needed for life,
there is the "spirit of the horse", of a cow, but the Spirit in man is the highest, it records everything we think or do.

And the spirit will return to God who gave it.

We are made a soul by His Spirit. Just like in creation it’s the interaction of His Spirit upon the earth that brings forth life.

I don’t know why you dug your heels in here. Perhaps you taught it incorrectly once. No worries, God is patient and forgives you. Just go forward with new understanding.

Before the fall, "faith" was simply normal communication between God and angels.
And, later. Between God and man.

Faith was the means for rapport between God and His angels.
When God wanted something? Without question, the angels would do it.

Satan came along with the lie as a means to get angels to stop having automatic rapport with God.
Now they had to question what they were told to do to see if it was from God by knowing what and who God is.

To do that? To know if it was now from God, or a lie?

Angels now needed to learn knowledge of God, as to be able to discern where something communicated was coming from.
Was it from God or a lie? Hence, the beginning of the need for the knowledge of good and evil.

Before the fall of Satan, there was no need to question what they were told to do or think.
Like we see with false teachers today, angels had their own assortment to work their way through by means of securing knowledge of the Truth. Today we gain knowledge of the Truth through accurate Bible teachings for us to think with and to have discernment.

That is why false teachings are insidious.

Some here are like silly women. Sad to say.

"Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." 2 Tim 3:7​

They deflect off the truth they are shown, never really coming to grips with the Truth. Always altering it into some fantasy, into something different from what the truth actually is. It is frustrating to see in action. Infuriating. Then they demand that you be nice in the face of their disgrace. Manipulating you into behavioral modification to their liking, denying the Holy Spirit his right to control your emotions.

Return to God who gave it? God does not give us our soul. He created it!

The human spirit is where all our sound doctrine gets stored for use.

For... It will be by means of the content of our human spirit that the Lord will evaluate our lifetime on earth.

He finds works motivated by either wood, hay, or stubble.
Or, works empowered by gold, silver and precious stones.

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. ​

If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, ​

their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. ​

​

It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. ​

If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, ​

the builder will suffer loss, but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping ​

God is ultimately the Most High God and our Father. When He wants to deal with us in person He comes as the Son. Those who are saved by the Father have His Spirit living inside us and He works through us to accomplish His Will on Earth.

The temple had to be cleansed in order that it was suitable that God dwell in it. This is why Jesus came and why believers in Him are able to receive the Holy Spirit within them. And where the Holy Spirit is, there They are. The context of John 14:23 is Jesus' promise of the Holy Spirit, Jesus declares of those who love Him and keeps (guards) His word, "My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our home with him."

The breath that God gave to Adam wasn't enough to sustain his life indefinitely, Jesus emptied Himself of his glory in order to dwell among us, but He experienced no separation from the Father nor the Holy Spirit apart from the moment of His offering, and even that may be arguable. I imagine God foreknew that ha'adam could not survive indefinitely unless the Spirit of the breath that gave them initial life indwells in them. No one can separate the Father from the Son or the Holy Spirit, except by Their agreement, as They Are One.
