This is called you believing what you want to.

If you believe angels are souls?
It's called not understanding enough doctrine to know it.

Too many confuse having emotions for being a soul.
It is not the case with angels.
They have deep and tender emotions, but with their spirit. Not a soul.
They are a different kind of creation.

Some angels were created to be light bearers.
Lucifer was such a great light bearer that he was used of God to bring in the morning light in the prehistoric creation.
Then, God followed with supplying the light of day.
That is why we see no sun existing in Genesis One until the fourth day. (Genesis 1:14-19)
For God was replicating the first three days as the angels had known and been accustomed to seeing in the prior created world.

Such light ability is not a soul attribute, but a spirit.

Keep in mind. God is light. (1 John 1:5)
And, God is spirit.

well that may true of some cultures but not if there brought up in God from honest people, I don't care where your from,.if you've been brought up honestly you will be honest.

Same here.

But honesty is expressed and influenced according to one's social norms.
Honesty can be blunt. And, honesty can be polite to a fault. Both are honest.

Well you can lean on this understanding completely if you want to,

But all life returns to God, when it says spirit gives birth to spirit, you don't get a new soul, the soul becomes transformed by the spirit, which is a clear indication that soul is spirit to,

Your soul becomes transformed by having "installed" by the Holy Spirit a human spirit that the spiritually dead unbelievers do not possess until regeneration takes place.

Your soul then is changed in how it functions in regard to the spiritual life.

I believe differently, I believe it's rebirth

Well honestly is honest what can you say, it be honest of you to swing around a tree all day if you never knew better, but you would learn which branches to swing on more delicately, without being to aggressive 😆

I don't box in the ring anymore either i still train with the lads tho, but it's a skill that's also honestly condemned by some in a blunt way, but people want to be kings 😂 that's my honest opinion, my friend I understand where your coming from,

You are allowed to be wrong if you prefer the subjective approach.
But, it must be according to objective sound doctrine, if God is ever to bless a believer.
One has to want objectivity....

Paul warned...
Many make their emotions their god.
Paul referred to them as being enemies of the cross of Christ.
Any personal interpretation will do as long as it sits well with how they feel about it.

Well you can lean on this understanding completely if you want to,

But all life returns to God, when it says spirit gives birth to spirit, you don't get a new soul, the soul becomes transformed by the spirit, which is a clear indication that soul is spirit to,

And what is clear and just past by this understanding, is can anyone completely rule out a soul as something spiritual Especially when it's the unseen,

Because man became a living soul is because God breathes living life meaning his life ,into them, and life is always represented as spirit to in his word, however you can rule this out if you want, by whatever means, but I won't take your word for it.

And Psalms 139:13-16 also makes reference that each you born becomes knitted togeather in our mother's womb which means each new person become a living soul to, but only they inherit the fallen nature, and also all are days are planned by God before any of them exists.

So each new born gets a new born breath of life, called devine intervention, but because Judgment was passed we are still born needing a saviour.
@Genez, funny thing you talk about sound doctrine but yet what is truly sound of many understandings, is understanding they can have grounds for more than one understanding, in his word, and whilst some understandings can clearly be understood, some cant be fully explained,

And yet you never even acknowledged this understanding here, which does has ground for belief, instead you've just skipped past it and favoured your own.

Fine it's that way you want to be,

The government (singular noun), they (plural pronoun) pass laws.

Why does the singular noun have a plural pronoun?

The government identifies one entity, and "they" identifies the members that make up that government. What's the problem?

Good. And Yahweh is a title for the Godhead, but those who operate the Godhead are several. Hence. the mixture of plural and singular verb forms, nouns and pronouns when scripture speaks about God.

You are leaving out the Holy Spirit or God's Glory. The Holy Spirit is the presence, mind, heart, and power of the invisible Almighty God the Father. Isaiah 63: 9-10 The Father is the invisible God because our reality is in the mind of the Father. That is how He has all those godlike powers. He has always existed, is everywhere, transcends time, can create out of nothing, etc. He interacts in our reality through His Holy Spirit. He is the Father of Glory and fills His Son with His Glory (Holy Spirit). The Father resides in His Son, and together they create our reality. The Son is the image of the invisible God the Father because the Son lives to obey the Father and the Father interacts in our reality through His Son. The one God is the Father, and the "they" refers to both the Father and the Son as His right hand. Genesis 1:26

Men are souls.
Angels are spirits. (Hebrews 1:14)
Being a soul does not mean we do not also have a spiritual modifier for our soul (a human spirit) that gives ability to our soul for our spiritual perception.

And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul. Gen 2:7

Man was created a soul.
A living soul.
A soul created with a human spirit intact to know God with.
Created spiritually alive.
Man became a living soul.
But, a soul, nonetheless.

When Adam ate the forbidden fruit?
He became a dead soul spiritually.
Hence... He ate, and died.
He lost his functional human spirit.

When we become born again, we receive from the Holy Spirit a human spirit to enable our soul to enter into spiritual realities that were not possible before regeneration.
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying,
‘You must be born again.’ John 3:6-7
John 3:6 - Giving birth to spirit".. is not to be confused with the indwelling Holy Spirit.
For the Holy Spirit does not give birth to Himself.
He gives birth to our human spirit for our soul's spiritual ability.

grace and peace ...........

The Hebrew, in Genesis 3:11, does not say...

"Who told you, you are naked?"
The Hebrew nuance is somewhat different.
It can easily read as....

"Who DENOUNCED you that you are naked?"

Satan was right there when they fell.
The fallen male angels were being insanely jealous of the wonderful sexual relationship Adam and the woman were having.
That is why they ran and hid, and covered themselves with fig leaves.

Satan ended their honeymoon abruptly once they fell and came under his jurisdiction.

Yes... it can be explained.

right, they weren’t naked. They were spirits closed in flesh. They were spirits just like their father.

Prior to the fall, Adam and Eve identified with God who was their father. Their father was Spirit (John 4:24) so they saw themselves as spirits clothed in flesh. They were given bodies to interact with creation. Their Father provided an environment that was perfectly compatible with them: all of their needs, their safety, their well-being, etc., the environment accommodated all their concerns.

They would gain wisdom and understanding by putting into practice what their Father showed them. By this lifestyle, following the direction of their Father in all they did and putting that into practice, they would come to understand both good and evil.

"But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."

We might think, "But, without sin, why is knowing good or evil important?" Part of the destiny of man is to judge angels. Even if Adam and Eve continued without sin, they would have to know the basis upon which to judge the angels who rebelled.

The difference was HOW the knowledge of good and evil was obtained. There was nothing special about the fruit of the tree. It was not magic. It was simply off-limits for their direct consumption. Man was never to be the arbiter of good and evil. He was always supposed to gain such wisdom from his Father, God, and walk in His ways which are always righteous and good.

As they consumed the fruit they immediately identified with their physical make-up and saw themselves as flesh and, therefore, naked: previously they saw themselves as spirits clothed in flesh. Now, they would be ruled by the needs of their arraignment, the flesh that covered them.

As an aside, this is why, in the ministry of reconciliation, we are to regard "no man after the flesh".

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

To continue: when it reads "and their eyes were opened" this is not a reference to their physical eyes. This is a reference to the eyes of their soul. They saw how the fruit could benefit them even though consuming it was contrary to the way of their Father.

And this is the crux of the issue: original sin. This sin is summarized in the scripture thus: "For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world."

Jesus tells us such lusts and pride are the ways of the world. It's no mystery, then, that as the world proceeds to its end, lawlessness will abound. Lawlessness is when people do what is right in their own eyes.

So, the world of man-kind is approaching a dichotomy: there will only be two sons left in the world. The side that has rejected God will do what is right in their own eyes: they will make up rules and laws that serve their own purposes. This "son" is called Adam. He will be completely lawless, consumed with his own lusts and desires. The other side, reconciled to God's original intent through Christ, will live by the Spirit, only doing what they see their Father doing. This son is "Christ". all who believe on Him for life will be included in Him.

Genesis 2:7
And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul.

It does not say, a living spirit anywhere in that verse.
"Ruach" is not to be found in the Hebrew.

The Lord breathed "naphach" - really means like 'mouth-to-mouth resuscitation' - into his nostrils.

Sorry. If spirit were indicated, you would be right.

A soul is Gods life, God's life is spiritual, that's the connection
