You confuse defending a policy with defending him. I pray for the President regardless of what I think of them.

I support the democratic process regardless of who wins the election. He is doing what he said he would do and what people voted for. Granted there are two sides to everything he has done, but for someone who voted for him to do these things, why shouldn't they support him doing them?

I do not support blindly following the leaders, but he was elected to lead, and he is leading and he should be given the support of the people. I don't mind people using legal methods to challenge what he is doing. But what they are doing in Portland, that I mind.

When I met my hubby he was a "soft core" Democrat. So one day we were headed out on a date and he asked if I would go see a movie with him, Micheal Moore. I agreed and we went and I gave him a listen. I knew of him but never saw a movie of his. When we came out of the movie my hubby made one mistake, he said " what did you think of the movie"? I said "do you really want to know my opinion?!" He said yes and that was the first time in his life he heard the truth about Dems and socialism and why it doesn't work. He was amazed and told me no one had ever told him that. He's been straight Republican ever since. He's seen over the years how much the main stream media lies, how much Dems lie and they back each other up. Now he can't believe he ever fell for it.

One final test though for her. The midterms of 2026, this will display her skill as a leader internally as well as depending on the move she makes, to either stay in the House or try to usurp Schumer's Senate seat would in theory give the people one chance to actually fire her and send her political career and her shining star to the void. Yes, generational gaps can lead to humorous discussions and sometimes to 'Idiocracy' scenarios because if you look at the generational shifts from JFK who today would be considered a Republican because he said 'Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country" compared to the new generation's mindset now which is "muh free stuff" you can see that in a period of about (close to) 100 years, we kinda took a 'hard stage left' exit.
