Didn't all of the Calvinists CHOOSE to deny the obvious.....Didn't they CHOOSE not to go?

Well I'm smart enough to know it wasn't evangelistic outreach. But you keep up the good work.I am not the least bit surprised that you haven't the slightest Biblically valid grasp of the Jericho episode.
In fact I was expecting exactly that.
And I am ALWAYS expecting exactly that from team Calvin.....![]()
And also the Grand Patriarch of the Jews! Even the Jews thought so!
BTW, are you still working on that "favoritism" question I've been asking you for weeks now? Maybe you should check in with one your Piled High & Dry theology experts. Maybe they can help you.![]()
Have I ever said differently! They chose according to their SELF-love sin nature? But what do you think about the other two groups in that parable?
maybe you've forgot about thisI am not the least bit surprised that you haven't the slightest Biblically valid grasp of the Jericho episode.

Apparently, you have never read the Parable of the Banquet (Lk 14:15-24). I suppose the first group of people who were sincerely invited received phony, false invitations?
Abraham was a Gentile, who later became a Hebrew....
The progeny of Abraham, of Isaac, and Jacob, were to become the Jews.
Jesus told that parable to Jews.
Jews who were the type who assumed that being a Jew meant they were saved, like the Pharisees.

where the brick wall you keep hitting ..Thank you for responding ... has been covered many times, but I notice when they hit a brick wall they circle back and try what has already failed multiple times but they like to pretend this is a fresh argument!
Pretty funny sometimes.
Scripture is thousands of years old so it's hardly fresh even as it renews us... but of course to you it's unrecognizable, and you just make it up as you go along... Really quite astounding how rather than accepting what Scripture says, you insert your own ideas and opinions to take the place of what is explicitly articulated in the Bible. Not that it makes any difference to you when you are told what it actually says, because you don't care what the Bible actually says when it messes with your vain self exalting philosophically based fantasy of free will.Thank you for responding ... has been covered many times, but I notice when they hit a brick wall they circle back and try what has already failed multiple times but they like to pretend this is a fresh argument!

and to cap it all of,.even tho Gods word explicitly says the will of man lives in the flesh they won't even admit that to mScripture is thousands of years old so it's hardly fresh even as it renews us... but of course to you it's unrecognizable, and you just make it up as you go along... no one can take away anyone's belief. And so listen to the song again Mrs @reneweddaybyday are you going to take his beliefs away again.
Judas was there ...Two things: First Judas was a Jew! So, when Jesus instituted the NC at the Supper, he did so with all Jews!
Secondly, I kinda doubt that Jesus made a covenant with one of the devil's own (Jn 6:70)!Judas had it in his heart already to betray Christ and Jesus knew this. The 11 remained with Jesus at the supper table, but Judas separated himself from Jesus and the true disciples to perform his dastardly deed.
Rahab is the woman who hid the two spies ... Rahab is great-great-grandmother of David (Matt 1:5-6).well I agree that maybe just maybe there could of been some who could have joined the Israel camp, but did they join out of there love for God or there fear of God, and where they filled with the holy spirit to ?
Well not everyone always expresses everything in an interview,no one can take away anyone's belief.
I never said Sting did not believe God. I said Sting was raised Catholic but no longer practices Catholocism.
I heard an interview in which Sting discussed "every breath you take" ... he said his intention was to write a song about love, but that the end result was somewhat sinister. those were his words ... not sure if that was before or after the interview where he said "his lyrics where inspired by God".
Anyway ... I hope you listen to the "whisper and the wind" ... which is a song about God and how God is with us through all our ups and downs ...
.
This was Sodom and Gomorrha ... the Jericho record is in Joshua.maybe you've forgot about this
Jericho still got destroyed
27Then Abraham answered, “Now that I have ventured to speak to the Lord—though I am but dust and ashes— 28suppose the fifty righteous ones lack five. Will You destroy the whole city for the lack of five?”
He replied, “If I find forty-five there, I will not destroy it.”
29Once again Abraham spoke to the LORD, “Suppose forty are found there?”
He answered, “On account of the forty, I will not do it.”
30Then Abraham said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak further. Suppose thirty are found there?”
He replied, “If I find thirty there, I will not do it.”
31And Abraham said, “Now that I have ventured to speak to the Lord, suppose twenty are found there?”
He answered, “On account of the twenty, I will not destroy it.”
32Finally, Abraham said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak once more. Suppose ten are found there?”
And He answered, “On account of the ten, I will not destroy it.”
33When the LORD had finished speaking with Abraham, He departed, and Abraham returned home.
Yep I know m but Jericho still got destroyedRahab is the woman who hid the two spies ... Rahab is great-great-grandmother of David (Matt 1:5-6).
