Yet you believe that a one time temporary act of faith with no root will save a person.
God does the saving.
Saves when we indicate that we are what he wants to save...
Its like picking apples.
The rotten ones we do not pick.
Did the apple use it's volition to rot? No.
The drawing of God is like giving invisible rain and sunshine to all.
Negative souls will not ripen for God to pick.
They will drop, and then rot.
They find themselves repulsed by water and light because they do not like it, and prefer to stay hidden in darkness.
In contrast....
Positive souls respond to rain and sunshine.
They prefer sunshine and rain, and openly welcome it.
Those ones God will continue ripen in His drawing.
They are just responding positively to the essence of God.
When completed? God harvests.
None of us knew it was God drawing us until after we were saved.
We just approved of the God's essence of invisible sunshine and rain.
So? How could that mean we decided to get saved when we had no idea that salvation was real?
We simply liked what God exposed of Himself to us, without us knowing it was God.
Without us knowing what was going on God plucked us off the tree, and placed us in a golden crate.
He did not think we were worthy to be saved just because of who and what we were.
We simply responded in a positive way to something God was exposing us to (without us even knowing it was God)
when He was drawing us.
And, after noting how we consistently responded positively to his essence?
God determined that soul He would ripen for harvest...
We do not choose to be saved.
We simply felt positive to what God was exposing us to from his essence unawares
without us even knowing it was God. Yes, some souls will find God's essence to be not positive.
Finally.. To Harvest what has been prepared and made ready for Harvest?
God then reveals His physical manifestation as seen in Christ.
We simply follow though with our desire for more rain and sunshine.
Saved.
