I'm not giving an invitation; I'm sharing truth. If the Spirit is working in the individual, he will be saved. If not, he won't. Our job is to plant and water. We don't produce the increase. You believe you need to convince the individual. I believe it is the Spirit who must do this.

Incidentally, this is why there are so many professing people in churches who never got saved. People are encouraged to kneel at an altar and say a prayer and presto...you are a Christian. No godly sorrow, no heartfelt repentance, no conversion.
She seems to like the presto and poof version. She promotes it often since she is so clueless about the new birth.

I have seen others promote it also.

It actually worse than that. They fool people into believing they are saved when they are not. They turn Christianity into a set of rules and intellectual pursuit and not a living testimony to the power and glory of God.

Never stated it was our invitation, the invitation is from God, it is in His word.

A false soteriology saves no one (which yours is btw), and no one here believes a prayer devoid of intent and a genuine humble response to the Good News will save any one either ...... so now who is misrepresenting.

So New Covenant Jewish believers are not part of the Body of Christ, i.e. his Church?.

I am body of Christ.
I was born a Jew.

I have no idea how you can be so mistaken in what I have been saying.

The Church is the Israel of God. The Church is the "nation" to whom Christ gave his kingdom after taking it away from national Israel.
Rufus....

There is one in every group.
And, you are the one.

yep ...

Ephesians 3:9-12

9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

this is what 1 Cor 2:14 is referring to ... not the gospel as some surmise ... just sayin'

.
Yes... we are at war.
God wants his special forces trained and able.

Right, but that's what you do. And how do you know when someone says such a prayer? You can see the heart? Do you tell them they are saved after an individual prays? Of course you do. But you don't know. So you confuse people and are possibly lying to them.

If Jesus atoned for the sins of all mankind in the distributive sense, where in the bible is the redemptive covenant that God made with the entire world?
That is a question that sits atop your precariously stacked pile of :poop:.

The Lord Jesus Christ died for all. This is the foundation you lack.

Yet you believe that a one time temporary act of faith with no root will save a person.

Perhaps you should brush up on the wedding supper in Revelation.

No of course you won't, because you cannot say any more, otherwise is would be a big fact lie and a false invitation.

Apparently, you have never read the Parable of the Banquet (Lk 14:15-24). I suppose the first group of people who were sincerely invited received phony, false invitations?

Abraham was a Gentile.

And also the Grand Patriarch of the Jews! Even the Jews thought so!

BTW, are you still working on that "favoritism" question I've been asking you for weeks now? Maybe you should check in with one your Piled High & Dry theology experts. Maybe they can help you.

Is that your objection?

Cause you can see the heart after poof/regenerated?

Oh I just mentioned the same thing and yes, even one who responded was thrown out. No doubt a free willer. Or perhaps one of those people that heishere says can exhibit temporary faith with no root and still be eternally saved.

It does makes me wonder what she even means to say faith with no root ... I mean, what is that??? It is obviously not connected in any way to Jesus Christ, since He is the true Vine and if our faith is not connected to or rooted in Him our faith is certainly not a saving faith. It sounds more like something somebody evinces who Jesus will say, "I never knew you" to.

No. My objection is you, and those like you, have convinced people they are saved when they are not.

And no, I can't see into someone's heart. But I can and do form relationships with those I share the gospel with.

Genez reminds me of hardened Type in there beliefs who just won't listen to anyone, but with a twist sadly he places himself higher than God, I mean how can anyone demand they won't apologise until they receive an apology from God,

You would only expect that behaviour and those comments from someone in rebellion.
