Adam.....federal head........."side".....willingly dies for his sinful bride
Jesus..... Federal Head........"side"...... willingly dies for His sinful bride

Oh sure. No similarly here....

Pro tip: the ONLY WAY that you are going to plunge a speaker into the side of Jesus is if He allows it. Of His express free will.

Classic example of you calling good evil and evil good. You must be a bleeding heart liberal because this line of reasoning turns self-willed, prideful Adam into a victim or even worse...a martyr! Poor Adam just didn't have a choice. He had to do what he had to do.

May I lick your boots, please?

Why would you want to do that: Because I admit to my finite limitations to understanding spiritual truth? But you think you have a mortal lock on a passage like Prov 20:24, don't you?

Believing the Good News does not require a change in nature and no where does scripture teach a person can only respond negatively to the Good News unless uniquely, divinely and particularly regenerated by God first.

Nowhere does scripture place regeneration prior to belief if correct hermeneutics is followed consistently.

Oh...but it does require transformative change! For there is NO spiritual soundness in the heart of any sinner!

And, yes, scripture does teach that regeneration precedes faith because salvation comes to us through the sanctification of the Spirit so that we can believe the truth (2Thes 2:13; 1Pet 1:2). And sanctification is a process just like giving birth to a baby is a process.

See how you have completely avoided the topic we're discussing. You seriously talk in circles and truly have nothing but what other people have said to say for yourself.
You don't have this abusive character on iggy yet?

I took YOUR logic to its only logical conclusion. When did Christ appoint YOU as a disciple? Give me chapter and verse. Look how you avoided my objection to your absurd hermeneutics! You didn't answer me re Jn 15:17! How can this text possibly apply to YOU since Jesus was only speaking to his elite, super-duper, special hand-picked disciples?
You did no such thing what you did was to add yourself to a discussion that is only for the Disciples.

Wrong again. An utterly dependable outcome seeing that it is your defining trait.

Why is this always so you may ask?

[Isa 29:12 KJV] 12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

So, then the Disciples are not part of the Body of Christ...or is any NC believer not part of His Body?

Given your answer here, it appears YOU think you're not morally obligated to love the Body of Christ either (Jn 15:17), since you obviously believe Jesus' words to his Disciples do not apply to you personally.

Go bow down to your idol Adam -- your mighty fine, virtuous, upstanding, blameless, altruistic superhero whose legacy is described so clearly for us in Rom 5 and 1Cor 15. May God have mercy on your soul for your vain, stupid attempt to favorably compare that sinner who literally ruined the entire creation with the Sinless One -- who is the true and only superhero of the human race since He came to rescue humanity from Adam's devastating destruction!

It's God that made this "favorable comparison". Don't blame me little buddy.

Hhhmmmmm....

[1Jo 5:4 KJV] 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.

A man’s steps are of the Lord;
How then can a man understand his own way?

Anyone who memorizes that verse?
He might use it to justify his wrong thinking to thinking it must be right because it was from the Lord.

Keep in mind.

The steps of Pharaoh's army into the parted water was of the Lord.

In Christ ...

And since Adam did all that when he was in an innocent, "very good" state, how much worse off are his progeny who now how to fight their evil sin nature, the world and the devil? There is no one good (let alone "very good"), save for God -- which means all the sons of men come into this world with evil hearts.

Having eternal life graciously imparted to one's soul is a prerequisite to understanding scripture rightly -- something you can never seem to do.

Well Adam didn't have eternal life so basically you're saying Adam sinned because he didn't understand the word of God.

No, they come into this world knowing neither good nor evil. Only God is good inherently, the rest of us must learn. Some of us do, some don't. Some learn to call evil good and good evil. Some remain stubborn in their own understanding and never grow in their knowledge of the truth.

It is advisable we all remember Christ's words at least once a day. :)

John 9:41
Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, (but you assume you're not blind) you would have no sin (you wouldn't operate in the arrogance of your flesh) ; but now you say, ‘We see.’ (self righteous justification) Therefore your sin remains. (proof you are walking after the flesh)

Hey @Rufus buddy. You know this Adam that you hate to love and love to hate?

Well God's love for Adam never failed. And he will be loved eternally.

Same goes for the people and nation Israel.

Jesus wasn't talking to the CHURCH He was only talking to His Disciples.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such
things there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23

Rufus... You're so spiritual.

No, it's your vainglorious, man-exalting interpretation whereby you glorify Adam's sin! Where in scripture is sin ever excused, discounted, dismissed or worse yet...glorified?

I guess you never learned that only the living can die. Adam did indeed possess eternal life because he dwelt with God in His temple (Garden) which God himself created. To be in God's holy presence is Life!
