False Cornelius was already a saved regenerated man, who worked righteousness and feared God. Peter was sent to instrcuct them in the Lord more perfectly.

In the OT, those who were under the law were required to be circumcised. In the NT we are no longer under the law. Do you see Christ asking for circumcision to continue? Keep reading Acts 2:39 - Peter is speaking to believers! It is not the water baptism that saves, but that of the promised Holy Spirit.

Peter speaking to believers??? He is speaking to those who was responsible for putting JESUS on the cross.
As it says, being baptized in the way we get rid of our sins and has nothing to do with the Holy Ghost.

Don't follow your point. Do you understand the verses I posted - do you see the word "saved" in v5 - that salvation is solely by God and His mercy, and nothing of salvation is by us? It isn't complicated
